Thank you for your post but The Illinois Ride Captain for the "Patriot Guard Riders" will post the correct information when he has it. I can assure you that he is on it. We have been doing this for quite some time now and coordination is necessary for the "Patriot Guard Riders. Once again, thank you.

Our prayers go out to this family. My husband was in the Navy for 6 years and is now in the reserve. We don't ride but would be proud to support our fallen heros.

Welcome lauralee76, You don't have to ride a bike: car, truck, roller skates, skateboard, etc anything you desire. You are welcome to join us. Our Ride Captain will be posting on here soon further details. Again welcome to the "Patriot Guard Riders".

I am brand new to the Patriot Guard. I got back from Iraq 15 days ago.. I will try my best to be there. I am still trying to get everything in order. I believe in all that you stand for, I am just down the road in Bloomington/Normal. I dont see anything that should get in the way..

I feel for the Gebur family. I am a medic I sent several Patriots home. I wish I could have done more at the time, now I am doing this for those whom are Patirots.

CORRECTION TO RALLY POINT - Sorry team.  The Rally Point is to the South of the bridge.  NOT THE NORTH.
Move my red dot to the south of the bridge...LOL.

20 May 2006 4:34 PM Alert

ITINERARY AND MISC INFORMATION UPDATE:

The Rally Point time has changed.  We must be in place at the funeral home no later than 8:45 am.  Therefore, I will arrive at the Rally Point at 7 am, Pre-Brief the Ride at 8:10 am with kickstands up at 8:25 am.  This is south of the Pekin bridge (Rt 9).  We are arranging for 1 or 2 riders to be present in the general area to guide riders into the park.

Parking at the cemetery will be in the grass, so please bring your kickstand placards to prevent bike sag in the field.

Anyone with a disability, that prevents them from walking any distance, please notify me when they arrive at the Rally Point.  We have special parking arranged for you.

Ensure you bring water to stay hydrated.
