Previous instructions said McDonalds was at Hwy 34 and Eisenhower, which is in error, because they are actually the same road.

Please note: The only McDonalds on Eisenhower in Loveland,
is at the following address:

1809 W Eisenhower Blvd,
Loveland, CO
(970) 669-4211

Check any mapping program for detailed directions.

Our heart felt condolences to the Palomarez family and friends in the loss of Isaac. Thank you for his service to this great country.

Anyone meeting up in the DEN area to ride down toghter? I'll be watching the thread to see if a group will be formed.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

There's a possibility I'll be able to make this one. If so, I'll be waiting at the I-25/Highway 7 exit. Don't need to take the exit, I'll just watch for you all as you go by and then fall in behind. I'll be there about 7:45. Not sure if that will be too late or what. If it is, I'll meet you at the Loveland staging area.

Some folks have voiced a concern that we are staging a bit early at the Cracker Barrel. There are several resaons, the biggest being the possibility of severe traffic delay. I would rather be an hour early than a minute late. Also, this allows people to take care of business, get a cup of coffee or breakfast once we arrive at the McDonalds

To the friends and family of Sgt Isaac Palomarez,

I morn for your loss, for our County's loss. Words fail to express the pain I know you must be feeling. May God bless you and keep you in the coming days.

Our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Sgt. Isaac Palomarez,Thanks for being one of our heroes. God Bless. And God Bless, The fellow soldiers that stands for us everyday.Thank you for your dedicated service and sacrifice to defend this great nation of ours.

We salute you , My Friend

Final Inspection

The soldier stood and faced God,
Which must always come to pass.
He hoped his shoes were shining.
Just as brightly as his brass.
"Step forward now,soldier.
How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek?
To My Church have you been true?"
The soldier squared his shoulders and said,
"No, Lord, I guess I ain't.
Because those of us who carry guns,
Can't always be a saint.
I've had to work most Sundays,
And at times my talk was tough.
And sometimes I've been violent,
Because the world is awfully rough.
But, I never took a penny,
That wasn't mine to keep....
Though I worked a lot of overtime.
When the bills just got too steep.
And I never passed a cry for help,
Though at times I shook with fear.
And sometimes, God, forgive me,
I've wept unmanly tears.
I know I don't deserve a place,
Among the people here.
They never wanted me around,
Except to calm their fears.
If you've a place for me here, Lord.
It needn't be so grand.
I never expected or had too much,
But if you don’t, I’ll understand.
There was a silence all around the throne,
Where the saints had often trod.
As the soldier waited quietly,
For the judgment of his God.
"Step forward now,soldier
you’ve borne your burdens well.
Walk peacefully on Heaven’s streets;
you’ve done your time in Hell."
