As I get ready to write to you, the words fall away as almost meaningless because of the pain I know you feel. I know, because I have felt that pain.

Know that you are NOT alone on this difficult path. Others are there to help you: reach out and embrace them, for they are offering not only themselves, but sharing with you that little bit of the Almighty that resides in all of us. This offering/sharing is what WILL give you the strength you will need to get thru. Trust me.

Any service related death, whether accident or illness, wounds received or KIA, warrant the Gold Star for the family. Don't let anyone tell you different.

I offer you my services, such as they are. If you want to talk, feel free to get in touch with me thru the PGR messaging. I WILL return your call/message. ANYTIME!

In the meantime know that my wife's and my prayers are with you.

***Flight Delay***

***Flight Delay***

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Pvt Hicks in this most difficult time.  I am not the pilot bringing him home but for another flight out to CA today but both the flights leaving Dover are delayed this morning due to high winds and driving rain.  My deepest apologies go out to the family for this delay but it is not safe to operate the aircraft in the current conditions.  Right now we are at about a 4 hour delay until the weather is supposed to improve.  I'll do my best to advise via this forum but watch the flight track on this site to see when the flight leaves.... http://flightaware.com/live/flight/KFS4499

Thank you,
TB

OK....Just off the phone with the CAO.

Flight delay and another added stop have this plane arriving at 1330 now. This plane is in the air and apparently this is a confirmed time.

Plan staging at noon, "just in case"

CHECK THIS.....  Due to popular request we have changed the time for EV riders at the AM/PM.   Staging is now at at 0745 and  KSU at 0800 SHARP!!  This due to the morning rush hour traffic and making sure we are there by 0845 for staging in Glendale at Chapel of the Chimes.
