Our sincere condolences to the family and friends of SSG.Bryan E. Bolander,Thanks for being one of our heroes. God Bless. And God Bless, The fellow soldiers that stands for us everyday.Thank you for your dedicated service and sacrifice to defend this great nation of ours.

We salute you , My Friend

Final Inspection

The soldier stood and faced God,
Which must always come to pass.
He hoped his shoes were shining.
Just as brightly as his brass.
"Step forward now,soldier.
How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek?
To My Church have you been true?"
The soldier squared his shoulders and said,
"No, Lord, I guess I ain't.
Because those of us who carry guns,
Can't always be a saint.
I've had to work most Sundays,
And at times my talk was tough.
And sometimes I've been violent,
Because the world is awfully rough.
But, I never took a penny,
That wasn't mine to keep....
Though I worked a lot of overtime.
When the bills just got too steep.
And I never passed a cry for help,
Though at times I shook with fear.
And sometimes, God, forgive me,
I've wept unmanly tears.
I know I don't deserve a place,
Among the people here.
They never wanted me around,
Except to calm their fears.
If you've a place for me here, Lord.
It needn't be so grand.
I never expected or had too much,
But if you don’t, I’ll understand.
There was a silence all around the throne,
Where the saints had often trod.
As the soldier waited quietly,
For the judgment of his God.
"Step forward now,soldier
you’ve borne your burdens well.
Walk peacefully on Heaven’s streets;
you’ve done your time in Hell."

I received an email about directions from KY. If one member had the question, others might as well:

Directions to Outlaw Field:

From I-24 in KY:

Take exit 1and turn right. The first street will be Tiny Town Rd. Turn right on there. About 6 miles (I'm guessing on the distance, but that's about right) Turn left on Outlaw Field Rd. You will see the airport on your left before you get to the turn.

If you want to come in from Dover, just take highway 79 all the way into Clarksville. It will end at highway 41A (Fort Campbell Blvd) Turn left on 41A. Then about 5 miles, turn right on Tiny Town Rd. Then Outlaw Field Rd. will be just a short distance on your right. I think it's the 3rd street if you come from that direction.

Thanks to all that came out on this wet day to pay honor and assist in the first leg of this Hero's final journey. I didn't have time to get a solid count, but my "rear view mirror" count was about 25 bikes and 3 cages.

I hope we can have a HUGE turnout next week. This is a very sweet family, that needs our support. And we all know that SSG Bolander has EARNED our respect and gratitude. "This National Debt can NEVER be repaid."

Special Thanks to the Clarksville PD, for escort support during the ride from the Airport to the Funeral Home. Couldn't have done this without you!

My deepest condolences to Sandra, Tyler, Toni and Robert on the loss of your son, fiance and father.

Stand Down SSG Bolander and "All The Way". Your mission here is complete and your sacrifice will not be forgotten. Rest in the arms of your Heavenly Father my brother in arms.

"Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you, Jesus Christ and the American G.I."
One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.

Psalm 23: A Psalm of David.
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters. 3 He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the LORD Forever. NKJV
