I'm very new to the group.  Just joined today!  If this mission happens on Thurs, consider me there.  If it's Friday, I don't think I can get away.  My boss has already spoken for the weekend off due to a daughter getting married.

In the meantime,  Staff Sgt. Wagner's family will be in our thoughts and prayers.  THank you for keeping our great nation free!!

To the Wagner Family, I'm not sure if I'll make it yet on either day but you are in my prayers!

Dewey, I will be for sure attending the funeral in Ladysmith Wisconsin on 5-16 for our fallen Hero Sgt. Nathan J. Vacho, but not sure if I can attend Sgt. Gregory A. Wagner's honoring yet but will let you know if and when I can.

I am available to ride on Thursday, I participated in the funeral for Lt. Evans this weekend and it would be an honor to ride to support our National Guard.  I would leave from Rapid City on Wednesday afternoon if anyone would like to ride together.  Mike Buckingham

At this point plans for the memorial service and funeral are pushed back a few days. Best estimate is Monday or Tuesday May 22 or 23. CAO is predicting SSG Wagner will not leave theatre until the latter part of this week. I am working with local authorities via the CAO regarding the proposed route and times etc. I will keep you all posted as best I can.

My deepest sympathy to the Wagner Family. Unfortunately I won't be making this run either. I'll be somewheres in Missouri or Indiana about that time, with the Run For The Wall. Should make it back to SD sometime around the 1st or 2nd of June.

It looks like the latest best info puts the memorial service at 11am on Saturday in Mitchell, a wake from 4pm to 8pm on Sunday in Mitchell and the funeral at 10am on Monday in Alexandria . He has arrived in Dover and is to fly to SD this Thu or Fri. It may be necessary to have a presence there for both the memorial service and the funeral but definitely the funeral. I realize it is frustrating not knowing the firm dates but this is the best we can do at this point and barring any unexpected changes this is probably how it will come off.

I'm working with the funeral director regarding staging, procession route, and protocol. Please keep checking the forum for updates.

I need to move some stuff on my schedule but right now I plan on riding to Mitchell on Sunday afternoon, and returning to Rapid City on Monday after the funeral.  If anyone would like to join up along the route let me know.  Has anyone heard if the Kansas group is planning on protesting?  If so I think I can get additional riders who may not be members of the guard to assist.
