My condolances to the Vacho family. My prayers are with them.

If it weren't that Ladysmith is 5.5 hrs from where I live. I would stand by. It is a bit to far for me, with my car (it needs a new clutch) I thought it was gonna be Janesville. But that's ok, my thoughts are with you guys! Fly a flag for me!

No man knowns the hour of his ending, nor can he choose the place or manner of his going.
To each it is given, to die proudly, to die well, and this is, indeed, the final measure of that man!
Yo Bro, you have your knees in the breeze on the big freeway in the sky, forever safe and

As the RC for Duluth and Metro NE in Minnesota, I have notified my sectors and have several confirmations already.  When more info becomes available, I will post details on a staging area for departure near Lindstrom and we'll ride together to Ladysmith.

Thanks to everyone for their involvement.

God bless our vets.

God bless you, Sergeant Vacho, and rest in peace, brother, your watch is over.  Rest peacefully in the arms of our Lord, for we will take it form here. May God grant your family the peace in knowing where you are now, and who you are with.  See you when we get there!

An ex-patriated central Wisconsinite in Texas sends thanks to all my PGR brothers and sisters who will ride for this hero!  Bless you all!

If anyone will need a place to stay en-route just let me know. I'm 10 miles into WI, right across from the Twin Cities of MPLS/STP and I'm about a two hour ride from Ladymith.

Fin, Welcome.

I'm in Dodgeville.  When details are in, maybe we can ride up together. (here's to hoping the big scoot is fixed by then).

Fin:  I am in Madison and have family in the Ladysmith area. I have ridden
up there a couple of times and driven it countless times. I would not mind
going up with you and jcurran as it will be my first mission (barring I
get called into work that day).  Hopefully the monsoon will be over by
        then.
