My deepest condolences to the family of Sgt. Bonnell for the loss of your hero. Please take comfort knowing that he made a difference in the lives of the common people of a land far away, people yearning to live in peace, free from the ravages of the violence visited upon them by murderers who kill in the name of God. There is somewhere a little boy or girl, who Jon touched with his compassion and caring, who will remember him for his smile and kindness as he went about the buisness of protecting their fragile way of life. He is a hero. It will be my honor to stand for this warrior.

My sincere sympathy to the family of Sgt. Jon E. Bonnell Jr.  May God watch over them and comfort them at this time of their loss.  There will surely be a special place in heaven for Sgt. Bonnell.  As I read of his dedication and commitment to the Marine Corps.  I was so proud of him and what he stood for.  We as Iowan's must continue to show our support for such great young people from our great state.  Eternal rest grant unto you Sgt. Bonnell, and may perpetual light shine upon you.

My deepest and most sincere condolences go out to the family and friends of Sgt. Bonnell. Jon will live on the hearts and minds of all who knew him, but we must remember that, though his time here with us is over, he has gone to a place where there is no war, only peace; there is no hatred, only love; and no guns or roadside bombs, only the hand of God. It will be a great honor to "Stand In Line" to show my gratitude to the family of this fallen hero. Standing by in Nora Springs IA.

Sgt. Bonnell Jr,
Thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Freedoms. We can never repay what you have done. May God wrap your family in His arms during this time. We know you are by His side now that your mission is complete.

'No Greater Love is this that a man is willing to lay down his life for another.' Only two men were willing to sacrifice their lives for us-Jesus Christ and the American Soldier. Neither of which can ever fully be repaid.

Thank you for your Service and my Freedoms. Your sacrifices will never go unnoticed. I am grateful to live in a country made up of volunteers like you. Your choice to protect our Nation and put your self on the line can never be repaid.

My deepest sympathy to the family of Sergeant Jon E. Bonnell, Jr. I appreciate all of his contributions to our country and may there be a special place for him in heaven. He gave his 'all' so young. He has joined the ranks of heroes and I love him for that. He is America's son, and I am an American. That makes him partly my loss too. I will never forget.

Another of our brave Marines has fallen in the service of our great country. My deepest sympathies to the family and friends of this hero. I know he would say, "I was just doing my job.", but to us all, he is a hero. His sacrifice has made us all, here at home, safer from the horrors of terrorism and the misguided hatred of those that do not understand what religious freedom can do for a nation and it's people. Thank you Sgt. Jon, and may you sleep peacefully with our Lord and Saviour at your side.

It doesn't matter what you ride, it's how you do it. Live and ride with honor.
