Thoughts and prayers are being sent to the family of SSgt. Robb Rolfing. Standing by in Omaha, NE.

Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush,
of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft star that shines at night,
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family, friends and soldiers of this fine man.

We live in the land of the free because of the brave men and women like this fine soldier and the others who so bravely serve. It is something within them that stirs them on to great heights of achievement. Something that tells them that nothing is more important than caring for, protecting, and defending the lives of those they love. Yes, some will give everything so that the world will be a better place. Their desire and hope is that we shall honor their sacrifice and live prosperous, peaceful, and happy lives until we are reunited with them in eternal time.

To the parents of SSGT Robb Rolfing, My prayer for you is peace. My hope for you is love. You have raised a fine son who is a hero to all that live without fear, to all who can make free choices, to all who have better lives because of the way he choose to live his. I respect the dreams you had for your son; yet more, I honor your sacrifice and praise you for allowing him to be the man he wanted to be. May his memory and all that he accomplished bring you peace and strength as you learn to continue on without him for a time.

Ssgt Rolfing, I along with every member of the Patriot Guard Riders humbly thank you for your service and dedication. You are a true American Hero! Your service and sacrifices will not be forgotten.
Rest easy Robb, your mission is complete. The Patriot Guard Riders will proudly stand for you with honor, dignity and respect.

It will be my honor to be a part of the final journey home for this great American Hero.

Thank you to all riders standing by for Robb.  He was an extraordinary young man with the abilities to realize his dreams.  He touched and will be missed by many.  Please offer a prayer for him and his family.  If you haven't already seen it, please read his story in the local paper at http://www.argusleader.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=2007707030319.  It is the profile of a hero.

I have closely followed these posts of prayers and condolences for the family of Staff Sergeant Robb Rolfing. This mission is personal to me because I have known Robb’s father for many years.

Rex, as you and yours can see from the outpouring of support in what you have described as “Our worse nightmare”, know that we are in prayer, we are praying for you corporately. As one Christian to another, because I know you to be a steadfast, committed, Man of God, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding ; in all your ways acknowledge Him,
and He will direct your paths.” Your Faith is a way of life, may that faith in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, now strengthen you and your family in this season. Peace be with you.

Standing By in Sioux Falls – It is my great privilege to be able to ride & stand with those who Honor Robb.
