I will be leaving the Kelly Rd., Orono, on-ramp between 6:30 -7:00 am. If anyone is interested in riding along, I may take my bike, if not I may end up in the cage. Please call me at 478-5211 if you would like to meet. AND EVERYONE, beware of the MOOSE. Lost a rider in Waterville this weekend and Lincoln is MOOSE COUNTRY especially along I-95.
No matter what you drive - RIDE SAFE PLEASE!

| Thank you, Sgt House, for your service and sacrifice in defending and protecting our freedoms. As a nation we mourn your loss and we will remember you always as a true American hero. To Joel's family, I offer my prayers and support. I understand a little of your grief-I lost my son last year in Iraq. I hope wonderful memories of your dear young warrior help eventually to ease the pain you endure today. Joel will never be forgotten-he leaves a legacy of honor and courage that few will ever achieve. God bless you. Julie Francis, Matt's Mom |

Let me start off by thanking all who showed up today to honor Sgt House. When we posted this short notice mission on Sunday night we had know idea how many of you would show up. The mission started for Bunny and me on Monday when we packed up the bike and headed out to Lee to attend the wake, meet the family and check out the area for Tuesdays mission. When we arrived at the church where the wake was being held we got in line to meet the family and pay our respects. As we were waiting it seemed like everyone came over to meet us and introduce themselves. Family members were very happy that the Patriot Guard was here and would be at the funeral in the morning. After we met with the parents of Sgt House we were invited to attend a meeting at the fire house to go over parking and all the plans for Tuesdays mission. With all the info I needed for Tuesday we decided to go have supper where we met Tim who decided to come up and spend the night.
On Tuesday Bunny, me and Tim arrived at the Staging area around 8:00 and there were already PGR members there. By 8:30 we had 20 bikes and 5 cages for a total of 27 members. We had 4 new members which we are always happy to see. We also had a member from New Hampshire (good to see you back Fred) also Don from Texas who was also at Sgt Parkers mission last week. At 8:40 the Lincoln police showed up and escorted us thru Lincoln so we could all stay together. When we arrived at Lee Academy they had parking set up for all the bikes and cages. We walked down to the gym and formed our flag line. About half-way thru the service the plan was for everyone to head to the cemetary and form a flag line for when Sgt House and his family arrived. Since there was no parking in the cemetary we had to take a bus. The Lee fire dept had a 15 person bus that they brought for us to use. They gave us the keys and said help yourself. So we had a volunteer PGR bus driver who drove everyone to the cemetary. Tim and I stayed back to escort the hearse to the cemetary. After the service Tim and I paid our condelences to Mrs. House who couldn't thank us enough for being there. Sgt House's grandfather also wanted me to thank everyone who showed up today and to let you all know that we made a differance today. Also Sgt House's Uncle (a PGR member from Maryland) took the time to shake each of our hands and to thank us for being there for his family.
I would like thank the towns of Lincoln, and Lee Maine for making the PGR feel welcomed. I would also like to thank the Lincoln Police Dept for there help. And of course the Lee Volunteer Fire Dept for all there help in making this mission a success.

A Big thank you to John & Bunny for this mission. We almost missed the chance to honor this hero. You two did a fabulous job, everything went smoothly, very well organized especially given the short notice. Thank you for your commitment to the PGR and our soldiers. God Bless Our Troops Sheila |
