My sincere condolences to the family of this Hero. May God hold and protect those they loved and those that loved them in this time of sorrow and grant them peace and comfort.

We mourn the loss of another defender of our freedom and thank them for their ultimate sacrifice. Greater Love has no man than to give his life for another. Mr. and Mrs. Baum, friends and family of Ryan, thank you for the honor and privilege to escort your son today. The Patriot Guard Riders share your sorrow and grief over the loss of your American Hero who was taken from this world too soon.

Thank you to Gabbi, Mary, Jim, Rick, Brandon, Mac, Janine, Bud, Dennis, Glenn, CJ, Dee, Clinton, Ed, Dan, Steve, Rich, Ryan, Rick, Robyn, Sandy, Grant and Wayne for taking time out of your busy schedules to honor this hero on such short notice. Kudos to Douglas County Sheriff's Department and Fort Carson MP's for the three motorcycles and two vehicle escort. Their assistance made the escort run smoothly and safely with our fifteen bikes and six cages.

It was such an honor to escort SGT Baum. May you continue to keep the family in your thoughts and prayers during this trying time.

I want to send out a huge THANK YOU to Kristen for stepping up to take this mission on such short notice. All reports tell of how thrilled the family and friends of Sgt. Baum were for the turn-out, and I know that this was because of all the phone calls she made, and how excited all of you were to follow her leadership. Kristen, you did a wonderful job. Thank you also to everybody that showed up for this mission. Kristen said you all were great, and all of you did a wonderful job of showing Sgt. Baum and all his loved ones the respect and honor they deserved.

Thank you to all that are missing Ryan so much for letting us be with you at this most intimate of times. It was an honor!

Thanks to Kristen and everyone for a smooth and successful mission! This was my first mission and was really impressed with the commitment and respect of the PGR members.

I was truely honored to be apart of this mission. Sgt. Baum is an American hero and I am happy to have grown up with and known such a brave and unselfish man. I am working to collect more donations for the Sgt. Ryan Baum memorial fund to help support Ryan's family and 2 week old daughter. If anyone can help, please go to www.supportthesoldiers.com and I will insure the donations reach the family. Thank you everyone for including me in this mission and supporting all our troops here and abroad.

We will be staging in the church parking lot at 11:30am. Maximum turnout is requested, as this is a last minute mission. The family was SOOOOO impressed with our escort last week they have asked us to stand for this hero.

If you have any questions, please call me at 719.390.3245.

For the C/S contingent, we will be leaving Denny's parking lot at Academy and I-25 at 9:45 in the morning. We will NOT be going up I-25, but up CO-83.

Please make all attempts to attend services for this fallen hero!!!

Regretfully, I have a doctors appointment during this timeframe tomorrow, and will be unable to attend. My heart, however, will be with my PGR brothers and sisters and I will be honoring Sgt Baum silently, with you all.

God Bless the Family of Sgt Baum, and the PGR on this mission. Ride and drive safe.
