Home safely from mission,3;35 pm. It was nice to
meet so many new people, but under such bad circumstances. Did every
notice that just when they were doing the last two folds on the flag,
that a stronge breeze kicked up and was snapping all of our flags?
Sure makes me think of a higher power. God rest your soul Mark. I am
praying for the family to some how have the strength to cope with this
loss.

Arrived home safely around 1600.  A beautiful day for the Patriot Guard Riders to stand in Honor and Respect for SSG Waltz.

I'll defer to Ron for his ride report on this mission but would like to thank, once again, all those travelled in for Mark and his family.  A special "Thank You" goes to those that were attending their first mission, to Kenny Butler, father of Cpl Kenneth Butler of East Liverpool and to Spc Ken Sutters, home on leave from the Sandbox for standing with us today.

No matter how often we are called upon, I shall never harden myself to the emotion and tears of presenting our plaque to the family of another Fallen Hero.

Rest in eternal peace SSG Waltz.  Your mission is now complete.  God Speed.
Respects,
Joe

The attendance for SSgt. Waltz today was very impressive.  To all members participating, the family was very grateful that we were there to honor their fallen hero.  Thank you all for taking part and standing for this fine soldier.  Ken Butler, I thank you for riding with us.  I know it must have been hard, but your participation shows what hearts are in the PGR.  Spc. Sutters, thank you for riding with us.  We all thank you for your service and we go with you as you finish your tour.
To the staff at the Wheeler Funeral Home, thank you so much for your help and working with us.  You all are a class act.  And thanks for the water and things you did that was above and beyond.
I thank all the Ride Captains that were there.  It was good to know I had good back-up and good knowledge where needed.
To all member in attendance, again, you showed a community there are still good hearts in our United States.  Thank you so much for showing your support and caring for our troops.  You did a good thing.  Always remember that.

                                                                                      Thank you all,
                                                                                        Ron J.

My most sincere condolences to the Waltz family and to Mark's friends. We are all eternally grateful for his service and for the ultimate sacrifice he made at eh alter of freedom. I pray that the Waltz family finds comfort in the Lord in this sad and painful time.

I would also like to extend my most sincere thanks to WV for covering this mission for us. We are unfortunately very thin on membership and RC's down WV way. With the Gullett mission in Hillsboro, we needed the help and I am so proud that our Moutaineer neighbors were there for us.
