| Pfc Botello, we thank you for your service and sacrifice to our nation. As a nation, we mourn your loss, and we will remember you always as a true American hero. To Brian's family, I offer my prayers and support. I understand a little of what you are going through-my son was killed last year in Iraq. I hope the happy memories you carry of your dear young warrior help eventually to ease the pain you endure today. Brian will never be forgotten-he leaves a legacy of honor and courage that few will ever achieve. God bless you. Julie Francis, Matt's Mom |

| Dear Pfc. Botello, thank you for your service, your devotion. Memorial Day is approaching, and your life and so many of the brothers and sisters who have gone before you in service (including my nephew) will be honored and given the attention you so deserve. God bless you as you return to Him, and bless your family during the long days ahead. We pray they find comfort and healing in the prayers, thoughts, words and actions of friends as well as strangers. |

Thank you for the mission you gave to your life in protecting our freedoms, and striving to give others, theirs. The lives of you and the men and women who have gone before you are raised high, and not given in vain. I honor you, and pray that our children will learn to do the same throughout coming generations. God bless your family, and may they keep their memories alive and rejoice in the life of a hero.

| The English language is vast. When we loose a husband or wife we have a word for that, widow or widower. When a child looses his or her parents we have a word for that, orphan. But when a parent looses a child we have no word for that because the loss of a child is too horrible of an agony to label or describe.
My most sincere condolences to the family of this American hero, who gave his life so that we may live free.
Standing by in LeMars IA to ride for, respect and honor this noble soldier.

| To the family and friends of Pfc. Botello: Our prayers go out to you. Losing a loved one is never easy, especially at his young age. But God has a better plan for him and has lifted him to the heavens to be with him. Rest assured he did not die in vain. Our servicemen and women sacrifice much for their country and we should all be always grateful that they are willing to do this. Our country remains free today because of those who have defended our shores. May God bless the Botello family and help you through this difficult time in your lives. Standing by. |

Just an FYI. I haven't seen this posted yet.
Alta is approx. 6 miles to the west of Storm Lake Iowa on HWY 7.
Summit Evangelical Church is on South Main Street in Alta. Simply turn south on to Main Street at Hwy 7 and continue thru town. It is on the far south end of Alta. It will be on the west side of Main Street. The Middle School is directly across the street to the east. Rather new and large Evangelical Church with sign out front.
