Thank you, Pfc Starcevich, for your service and sacrifice in order to defend our freedoms; as a nation we mourn your loss and you will be remembered always as a true American hero. To Lucas's family, I offer my prayers and support. I understand a little of what you are dealing with-my son was killed in Iraq last year. I hope happy memories of your dear Lucas help eventually to ease the pain you now endure. Lucas will never be forgotten-he leaves a legacy of courage and honor that few will ever achieve. God bless you. Julie Francis, Matt's Mom

My most sincere Prayers to the family who is greiving at the loss of their HERO. No words that I can say will ever bring you comfort, instead I send my husband who is Blessed enough to be a part of PFC Starcevich return home, and as he is laid to rest. My hubby is in the US Army and was just given the honerable priviledge of being a part of the honor guard and funneral detail.

PFC Starcevich, may you rest in peace in the house of your God, and "Thank You"

To the Patriot Guard Riders...What you are all doing, the time, effort, the sacrifice, thoughtfullness, and selfless service, is overwhelming. You put yourselves in harms way, so that there can be peace of mind at such a hard time for many families. You are guardians (Heroes) for our Heroes. Thank You...for giving all you do.

V We extend heartfelt sympathy to the family and friends of Pfc. Lucas V. Starcevich. There is no way to lessen the sorrow of losing someone so precious to you…but please remember, even those who do not know you care very much and are praying for you. This brave young solder paid the ultimate sacrifice and will always be a TRUE AMERICAN HERO. This void will never be filled but may your memories of him be a source of comfort to you. We will NOT forget his courage and willingness to serve our country and defend our freedom. And so we honor him because of his choice to stand for what he believed in. May your faith in God and the power of His love carry you through this difficult time. Truly this was the greatest day of his life, for today he met the Lord. May God Bless You.

Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honor to whom honor. Romans 13:7

I want to express my appreciation to the family, friends and community of Pfc Lucas Starcevich for allowing us into your family and community. It was our Honor to have the opportunity to show our respect, and express our condolences.

Thanks to the LEO's, the Funeral Home and all others who assisted with this.

I also want to acknowledge the members who worked so hard to make this happen, and maintain the 24/7 Honor Guard.
Road Captain Bill H. and your sons, your dedication is an inspiration to all!
Thanks to Steve L. for all your support, Road Captain Dave S. thank you for being there. And Chris B. for bringing the flags and traveling back and forth to make sure everyone had what was needed.

Thanks Rose C. for providing that special package to the family.

It was a great display of Patriotism and show of Respect, which is what PGR is about.

Pfc Lucas Starcevich, we are here for you, your family and friends young man. Thank you Sir for your sacrifice.

With my most sincerest and heartfelt respect and condolences,

Todd LeClair (SlingBlade)
