My sincere condolences to the Riewer family in this time of loss.  Greg was a wonderful person in all sense of the word.  I knew Greg in high school and although quiet, still dedicated in all that he did and this showed with his love for his country as he served in the US Army.  Rest in peace Greg, you've done your family, your community, and your country proud.

To all Patriot Guard in the area, I know you will be able to serve Greg and the family well.

Please accept our condolences, our sympathies, our prayers.  We feel very deeply for your loss.  Know that your son will never be forgotten.  He will live on in many hearts as the Hero that he is.  Our son is still serving in the sandbox.  Same unit - he was a friend of Greg's.  We will be honored and we will be humbled to help provide an escort for Greg.

Escort service from the Armory to Furey Funeral Home in Frazee, MN.

Tuesday, April 3rd:

The first 20 acknowledgers that they are available will be notified of final plans. Presently this Mission would require a staging at Furey Funeral Home at 1:45pm. Escort at 2pm for an approximate 5 minute ride. Dimissed after arrival at church.

The below Confirmed Mission actions are subject to change but Funeral Service time is confirmed; 2:00pm, Wed, April 4th.

Wednesday, April 4th:

Pre-arrival gathering can be done at the Highway 10 Rest Area between Perham and Frazee (less than 1 mile from Frazee/Hwy 87 Exit Ramp) if many of you want to come into Frazee in a large group. PGR coming from the West would need to go pass the Frazee HWY 87 exit ramp to get to the Rest Area which is on the North side of Hwy 10. There is a crossover from Hwy 10 East to the Rest Area...you need to be in the LEFT lane after passing the exit ramp as you will make a left turn crossing Hwy 10 West. Departure from Rest Area should be ____10:00_____AM

____10:15____ AM. Staging will be done in the parking lot across the street from Frazee High School located on State Highway 87 in town.

____11:15____ AM Mission Briefing.

____11:40____ AM Honor Mission Riders will depart from parking lot to stage up on Co Rd 30 approximately 3/4 miles from lot. Turn right onto Co Rd 30 and then a U turn will be accomplished at first intersection with all cycles then proceeding back to Hwy 87 and parking on side of road.

____11:40____ AM All other riders should proceed back towards downtown and take a left turn at Ash Ave. (1 block from School) at the Cummunity Center. Ride one block and turn left again and proceed up the hill and follow curve to the left. As you approach Hwy 87 again, peel off and begin parking along both sides of the street. This will be the final parking area prior to the funeral service. These riders will then go to the High School and provide Honor Guard at the entrance to the school for the arrival of SSG Riewer.

____11:55____ AM Honor Mission Riders will proceed in two columns back toward the School. Lead rider and tail gater will communicate when the end of formation passes the entrance to the Furey Funeral Home. All riders will stop and be ready to move out as soon as the Hearse begins leaving the funeral home parking lot. All riders will proceed pass the School and continue one block to Ash Ave., turn left and ride one block and turn left again and proceed up the hill and follow curve to the left. As you approach Hwy 87 again, peel off and begin parking along both sides of the street where Honor Guard has already staged. This will be the final parking area prior to the funeral service.

At this time all PGR's can use the Frazee Liquour Store and Community Center for a break, approximately 1/2 hour.

___12:45______PM Stand Guard for funeral service.

___2:20_______PM Break, approximately 1 hour.

___3:20_______PM Honor Guard form up for departure in front of lead vehicle. Quiet Motors PLEASE!

___3:20_______PM All other riders depart directly across HWY 87 and ride out to cemetery. All cycles will park on right side of road. Tail Gater and Lead will coordinate when to stop so hopefully cycles are evenly spaced out either direction from the cemetary. Assemble flags and proceed to the burial site for formation.

Honor Mission riders will lead procession to cemetary. They will turn left at the second entrance to the cemetary and will follow the U shaped drive until it meets the next intersecting road from the Right. Shut down and assemble 3 x 5's and join the rest of the PGR group.

Following the Service, PGR's will await the departure of the mourners for mounting up.

All times are approximate. Please bring a 3 x 5 flag. Ride safely, and bring appropriate gear, food and drink; we must be self-supporting. We will be traveling at posted speed limits or below in staggered formation. If this is beyond your riding skills or comfort level, please follow along behind the group on your own, cage it, or pass on this mission. Please watch weather forecast for proper gear.

To the family of SSgt Riewer, we are with you in thought and prayer. Your young hero holds a special place in our history and in the future of our nation, and our world. We lost our nephew last year and know his legacy will keep him alive forever in our hearts. Your loved one is with you now, wherever you are. God bless you.

Thank you for the mission you gave to your life in protecting our freedoms, and striving to give others, theirs. The lives of you and the men and women who have gone before you are raised high, and not given in vain. I honor you, and pray that our children will learn to do the same throughout coming generations. God bless your family, and may they keep their memories alive and rejoice in the life of a hero.
