I was contacted by a family friend at the VFW when I heard about Pfc Nathan Given. I was taken aback. I cannot understand where we find such men. All we hear on the news is the bad, but we never hear about great men like this, who give their all for this great country. I know that the family has been heartbroken, and it is really tough. Just understand that all the people of the PGR are here to help you in your time of need, and to let you know how much your son meant to us all.

Work will have to do without me on this one. I have to fix my bike, but I will be there on the bike, or in a cage, but I will be there.

To the Given's family my hearfelt condolences. I have just read the article that was written in the Houston Chronicle. Your son was a special young man. Knowing that your son brought soldiers to know the Lord while in Iraq just warmed my heart. I know that he is resting in his Saviours arms. May God be with you and may you find comfort and peace in the coming days.

Prayerfully,
Lidia PAM of Anthony
