It is with a heavy heart that I pass on these condolences to you and your family. I know that these words won’t bring your loved one back, but be assured, they will not be forgotten. Our brothers & sisters-at-arms will continue the good fight until we bring all our people home. My prayers are with you during this time of loss.

I am willing to van-pool to this Mission, leaving the Monticello Home Depot parking lot at 0630 hours. If you care to 'pool with us, I have room for 3 more passengers in my van. Please call me to let me know if you are interested, so I don't have more riders than room for them. My home number is listed in my profile, or e-mail me by Thursday night.
THANK YOU TO ALL OF US FOR SHOWING OUR SUPPORT AND PATRIOTISM TO THE FAMILY AND TO THE WORLD!

Rochester and SE MN Sector: Paul and I have been in contact , we plan on meeting north edge of Rochester at the Wal-Mart/Sam's Club parking lot, closed grocery store lot (Econo?), just south of the Quik Trip, leaving at 5:30 a.m. so plan accordingly. Due to morning frost and high traffic conditions in the Metro we are planning on caging this trip. At this time Paul has 4 seats and I have 2, Please be sure to contact us so we know whom to expect. Look for a white Chevy ext cab pickup I will be on site @ 5:10 a.m. If you do take your bike, I cannot stress enough to make sure you stay safe, once again we will be dealing with rush hour traffic! I can be contacted at turg@hmtel.com or 507-951-2081, Pauls info is listed above. Thanks to all and please keep this family in your thoughts and prayers. Greg Turgeon ARC Rochester SE MN Sector

Final Itinerary Update
Service Date: 12-15-06
Services will be held at St Vincent De Paul Church, 9100 93rd Ave N, Brooklyn Park MN 55445
Final Staging will be at Advent Lutheran Church, 9475 Jefferson Hwy, Maple Grove, MN, 55369
While the addresses are different cities the two churches are right next door to each other. We will walk from the Advent Lutheran Church to St Vincent's.
-Advent Lutheran Church will be providing coffee at the initial staging area -St Joseph's (New Hope) will be providing Hot Choc mix and baked treats -St Vincent's will have the East Meeting Room open to us with a bathroom, warming area, and coffee. We will have our own entrance so won't interrupt the family.
There is a school attached to St Vincent's and they are tentatively planning to have the school children form a flag line out towards the exit as the hearse departs for Fort Snelling. We have invited the school children to stand in line with us as well.
The church is expecting 700-800 people to be attending.
We will also have a number of friends standing the honor line with us from some local Legion Posts. Please make a point of thanking for their help and past military service.
Because the children will be standing with us have any patches that may be inappropriate for young children covered.
The long range weather forecast is for 39 degrees and partly cloudy.
We do have a bike parking area at the church approved if you plan to ride that day. In all cases… safety is our first consideration. If the conditions are risky DO NOT bring your bike. We do not want a special mission for a fallen PGR member.
From North or South Hwy 169 (North of I-694) At the stop light for 93rd Ave/Hwy 30 turn west
Travel approximately ½ mile
At the stop light for Jefferson Highway, turn right (North)
Travel approximately 1/3 mile
Turn left into Advent Lutheran Church
Remember to plan your travel time accordingly with metro area rush hour traffic.
I-94 East to Brooklyn Park is very heavy I-694 West to Brooklyn Park is moderate Hwy 169 North to I-394 is heavy Hwy 169 North of I-394 is moderate to light Hwy 169 South of Elk River is heavy
0730 – Staging area opens at Advent Lutheran Church, 9475 Jefferson Hwy, Maple Grove, MN, 55369
0810 – Pre-Mission Briefing
0815 – Depart to St Vincent De Paul Church and set up honor line
0845 - Casket arrives at Church
0900 - Family visitation
0930 - Public visitation
1100 - Funeral service
1230 – Approximate end of service
Internment is at Fort Snelling and the family has not invited us to attend.
For those who wish to have lunch as a group there is an American Legion Post at 260 4th Ave Se, Osseo, MN. We will go there directly from the mission.
Bring a 3x5 foot flag and pole, dress appropriately for the weather (we will be outdoors for +3 hours), bring water and food if necessary.
We must be self-sufficient.
