South Hills area of Pittsburgh:
The weather at this time looks like it will be cold but clear; at this time I plan on riding. My wife and daughter will be taking a cage, if anyone wants to ride with them let me know and we can discuss - e-mail hollywood@patriotguard.org. Please keep in mind that most of us will be returing after sunset or close to sunset. Barry Bioni and I will select a stage area in the South Hills of Pittsburgh for Sunday morning to meet, one of us will post by Friday.

I live in Clarion, Pa. which is only about 10 minutes away from Knox. I am pretty certain I can get permission for us to meet at the American Legion here. From there we could head out. If anyone wants to meet here, email me and let me know. I would be happy to accomodate anyone. Be advised that up here the weather is unpredictable. The roads are clear now but could be bad by Sunday. Pittsburgh weather forecasts are rarely accurate up here. I look forward to being able to honor Pfc McGinnis on my first ride with the Patriot Guard.

Richard Getchel... There are two grocery stores stores in Knox, Tom's Riverside, tele 814-797-2240, and the Sharp Shopper, tele 814-797-1171... I am certain that one of them would allow a staging area in their parking lot. Both are very close to the church,, maybe a mile at best. I recommend the Riverside store. Just a suggestion.

“If you are able, save for them a place inside of you and save one backward glance when you are leaving for places they can no longer go.
Be not ashamed to say you loved them, though you may, or may not have always. Take what they have taught you with their dying and keep it with your own.
And in that time when men decide and feel safe to call war insane, take one moment to embrace those gentle heroes you left behind.”
