I extend my deepest sympathies to the family, friends and fellow soldiers of Spc. Chris Kleinwachter. It hurts deeply when I hear of losing another soldier, especially when it is a fellow ND Guardsman. I remember having Chris in the weapons training classes the 1-188th ADA had before deploying. I did not get to know him personally but I saw a highly motivated and dedicated soldier. I will be very proud to come and stand in honor of this fine young soldier that we have lost too soon. Please find comfort in knowing that he will NOT be forgotten. May God's love and peace surround you now and forever. Standing by in West Fargo.

It was my extreme honor to stand with you all, at the prayer service and the funeral, and my wife feels the same, for this American Soldier.  I was quite moved when that Marine, and I am ashamed to admit I can't remember his name, showed up to stand in the flag line with us.  This young Marine Hero, stood with us in his dress blues, looking sharp with his medals pinned in place.  What moved me to tears was that this Marine lost his leg to an IED last February, yet stood loud and proud with us.  This Marine, although he lost his leg in February, walked his sister down the aisle for her wedding in July.  Impressive.

Young Alex, a junior in high school, was there for both events.  This young man is preparing to be in the National Guard next year.  Good luck to you, and God Bless!

To all our new members that signed up that day, thank you!  And welcome aboard!

Thank you Cory (92Nighthawk) and Bruce (NDTazman) for your excellent work organizing us!  Thank you to Wendy's for providing us with chili, coffee, and hot chocolate.  Ken Towers, owner of Wendy's, thank you!  Thank you Hugo's for the doughnuts and Jeanie's Restaurant for the coffee!

Most of all, thank you to the Kleinwachter  family for inviting us to come and honor this young man, Chris Kleinwachter.  Chris, your mission is complete, it's time to stand down, and go to that great R&R in the sky.

Curiousity killed the cat, but for a while, I was a suspect.
If you love something, let it go. If it comes back to you, it's yours. If it doesn't, hunt it down and kill it.

Just remember, if the world didn't suck, we'd all fall off.
Unfortunately, seizing the day.

I wasn't aware that the young Marine had stood in the flag line. I saw him when he entered the church and throughout the service. What a special young man he must be!
Thank you for the show of support and for honoring my friend Chris. Knowing him he is not about to stand down and is now on a mission as a guardian angel!
