Ed has been my best friend since we were in the Marine Corps together. This is still hard for us to believe, and I'm going to miss him. Ed was a friend to all, and a real character if you have never met him. He leaves behind a wife, Vicki, and 2 daughters, Erica 9, and Meghan 7. You can believe that uncle Michael is going to be looking after these girls as they grow up, and we will always cherrish the times that we had with their dad.
To those that are coming to Wilmington for the service, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for honoring Ed. The family is never going to forget these coming days, and the image of those riders and flags will be some of the fondest memories that they will cherrish. Ed was also a dedicated fireman, and we will be honoring his dedication to this communiry as well.
Semper Fi my fellow riders. I look forward to meeting you on Thursday.

Michael

It is with the utmost respect that I offer my condolences to the family of a true American Hero. Edward, may you rest in the knowledge that your duty was well done and you have the thanks of an entire nation for your sacrifice and your service. I know that you will now be in the company of your fellow veterans who have gone before you and who will welcome you at the Gates upon your arrival. Stand down now and know that we will carry on your legacy of freedom for all our citizens. To your family and friends I ask that God comfort them now in their time of despair and remain with them as they adjust to their loss.

To the family of SFC Edward C. Kramer, please accept my deepest sympathy. So much is being made over a certain entertainer today, I only wish our Heros like SFC Kramer would get a little more attention than they do. Thank God for these great warriors. It's really the only reason that we can do the things that we all do. Thank You and Godspeed to you, SFC Edward C.Kramer

Our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Sfc.Edward C. Kramer ,Thanks for being one of our greatest heroes. God Bless. And God Bless, The fellow soldiers that stands for us everyday.Thank you for your dedicated service and sacrifice to defend this great nation of ours.

We salute you , My Friend

Final Inspection

The soldier stood and faced God,
Which must always come to pass.
He hoped his shoes were shining.
Just as brightly as his brass.
"Step forward now,soldier.
How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek?
To My Church have you been true?"
The soldier squared his shoulders and said,
"No, Lord, I guess I ain't.
Because those of us who carry guns,
Can't always be a saint.
I've had to work most Sundays,
And at times my talk was tough.
And sometimes I've been violent,
Because the world is awfully rough.
But, I never took a penny,
That wasn't mine to keep....
Though I worked a lot of overtime.
When the bills just got too steep.
And I never passed a cry for help,
Though at times I shook with fear.
And sometimes, God, forgive me,
I've wept unmanly tears.
I know I don't deserve a place,
Among the people here.
They never wanted me around,
Except to calm their fears.
If you've a place for me here, Lord.
It needn't be so grand.
I never expected or had too much,
But if you don’t, I’ll understand.
There was a silence all around the throne,
Where the saints had often trod.
As the soldier waited quietly,
For the judgment of his God.
"Step forward now,soldier
you’ve borne your burdens well.
Walk peacefully on Heaven’s streets;
you’ve done your time in Hell."
