Our sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathies to the family and friends of Verne Nichols. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this difficult time. May God bring you comfort and peace in the days ahead. Thank you Verne for your courage, dedication and sacrifices. Thank you for standing guard for our freedoms and those of others around the world. Mission accomplished



12 bikes, one cage with one two up and a first timer(Marine) stood in HONOR for Ralph Verne Nichols USN.



We established a flag line to welcome family and friends before the service.



We established a flag line before his final ride to the mortuary. All 12 bikes and a cage escorted him back to the mortuary safely with no incidents.



It was a HONOR to be part of his sendoff.

on behalf of our family i thanks all those whe were there. this was such a short notice and a work day as well. we are having verne flown to seattle now for the finale burial. in true pgr fashion the washington ride capitan is all ready to start off. i have been a part of this orgainzation for two and ahalf years and have met only the best people and have only had the greatest responses from family members for our services. we also appreciate those who have made comments in support and honor of verne.

Thank you for your willingness to defend the United States of America and her freedoms and interests. Your death brings much sorrow and sadness to the hearts and lives of your family, friends, military brothers and sisters, each and every member of the Patriot Guard Riders, and all who truly appreciate their freedom. We are proud of your service and dedication in that which you believed in and fought for. Your mission is complete. You are truly an American hero and the world in which we live is a safer place because of your commitment to freedom. We will now proudly stand for you with honor, dignity, and respect. this was my first mission as a member of the family and the pgr pressence was great. the whole family made one positive remark after another, i couldnt help but overhear the gratitude expressed at our get together later. the respect shown by the pgr memers in california and washington was of the highest calliber. the mortuary director in washington came over and thanked the pgr saying " this was the first time as a director i have had you guys partisipate you did a great job" i dont think i have ever been part of such a great organization and i am proud to be a part of the pgr.
