Looks to me like you got registered just fine. Welcome, that's really all there is to it. You are now a proud member of the PGR and we are proud to have you. Just click on "HOME" and start looking around. You should find all the information you need in the various links and threads. Be warned though, once you start reading, it's hard to stop.There are so many articles and letters and messages to read that will make you swell with pride and bring a lot of tears to your eyes, that it is hard stop.
The most important part of this site is on the right hand side of the screen. Here is where you will find links to forums for the various confirmed missions and a watch list of those that may be upcoming. Just keep checking in to see what is happening near you and where you can be of service (just like you did in this thread). The most current information regarding the details of each mission will always be moved to the first post as soon as available, so it is always easy to stay on top of what is happening, where and when!
Once again, welcome aboard. Don't hesitate to ask quetions. Everyone is more than willing to help.
Most importantly, Thank you to you and your husband for your loyal support and love of our great nation. May God watch over him, protect him and keep him safe as he so honorably serves for all of us!

I'm standing by for the Provisio funeral in Minnesota which may also be on June 1st - but would be honored to attend both if on different days. The noon funeral time helps with the additional distance - I try to stay within 200 miles, but it's basically interstate all the way from the Twin Cities. Waiting for details on the actual meeting time and staging place.
And to respond to Joe Smith's post above - I've never yet been able to stand on the line without shedding a few tears. So, to the "always there for them" wife who just signed on and her husband is in Iraq - yes, it can be emotional, but from one woman to another, I understand your deep desire to show support, and if the tears come, so be it. We attend to honor the hero, as well as show respect to the family. If people are looking for an "activist" activity, they are looking in the wrong place.
You should read the "Mission Statement".........We are not a counter-protest group!
Welcome aboard.
Non bikers can show respect just like bikers can. If you do not get the questions you have answered before Friday, feel free to attend anyway. I would recomend the first thing you do when you get to the rally point is seek out a member, extend you hand, introduce yourself as a new member and ask them what you want to know. People are most helpful to newcomers, and will be happy to share the info they have learned over the missions they have attended.
The last thing we want is for the family to be disrespected at the time they are trying to honor a loved one. Conduct yourselves in a manner that you would want others to conduct themselves if they were at a funeral your mother was attending. |

I am a bismarck native transplanted to brookings sd. This soldier was a volunteer with my nephews unit. if i can get my parts on my bike in time i will be there for the friday service. if there is a special meeting place please let me know.

This was posted on the local news website...and another station here in Fargo/Moorhead said friday its at the church.... just in case they are moving the funeral friday. I dont have a bike, but I believe in this group and what you "True" americans do for the solidiers and there families. A fringe anti-gay church group from Kansas says its planning to protest at the funeral of a Fargo soldier killed in Iraq. A service for 21 year old National Guardsman Michael Hermanson will be at Boulger Funeral Home on Friday. Guard officials and Fargo police are making security preparations for the service. Guard officials say the group is known for trying to provoke physical confrontation with the mourners and that’s what they want to avoid. Hermanson was originally a member for Fargo’s 142nd before he volunteered to serve with the Minot-based 164th. Guard members from across the state are expected to be in attendance. |

I am neither a rider or military (college student actually) but I thank you people from the deepest part of my heart for the piece of mind you will provide the family of the late Spc. Hermanson from those monsters posing as Christians.
If I can get myself to Fargo in time for the funeral, I'd love to at least give my support and will in spirit if I can't make it. |

| I see several posts from people who don't ride, but expressing support for the cause. The real impact in a situation like this comes from sheer numbers. Anyone who can make the service, or even show up on the street/sidewalks adjacent to the church contributes greatly to the message we need to send to the family, friends, community, state and country. "We support our troops and came here to show our true appreciation for one young man who made the ultimate sacrifice for his love of country, and willingness to go the distance to protect our freedoms". There are plenty of forums where people can profess and debate their political views, whether we should or shouldn't be involved in this war. Michael sacrificed his life defending our priveledge to do so! This is a time and place to bestow the honor and dignity this man and his family deserve. And believe me, because I know first hand, the TrailBlazers of Co.A, 164th that remain in Balad, are paying keen attention to what happens and how much support is shown on Friday. Not only can each and every one who shows up support Mike's family and pay tribute to him, but also inspire those troops that remain in theater to continue their assigned missions with the determination and excellence they have displayed to date. Show up-with a Stars and Stripes, big or small, in your hand. Be very proud to be an American, regardless of whether you ride or not! With strong numbers we can make any uninvited guests completely inconspicuous, and a total non-factor! Each and every person that shows up on Friday, does matter and can contribute to making a huge positive difference! God Bless Mike's family and friends, the TrailBlazers of Co. A, 164th Engr Bn., and every single compassionate soul who attends this event! I can speak for these TrailBlazers, and say Thank-You! |
