Subj: Don "Padre" Pender Mission Update/Staging Info:

Staging will be at the ALR Post listed below at 10:15 am, Saturday, September 6th.

Keep in mind we have two memorial missions happening just about the same time, and one send-off later in the day we hope all can regroup at!! Consequently you are probably going to have to choose between one or the other based on distance, location, and your particular calling to attend one over the other.
I only wish we All could attend Both as Each deserves our Remembrance and Respect !!

Too Tall-

As we discussed, a flag line outside the building as people enter, and along the back wall during the service would be great. I expect the service to last about an hour.

As you know Don "Padre" Pender was killed in a motorcycle accident on South Mountain recently. He was a member of the ALR Post 2 in Tempe, AZ, and an active member and strong supporter of the PGR. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM at the American Legion Post 2 at 2125 S. Industrial Park Ave., Tempe, AZ 85282. After the service an honor guard will ride to the South Mountain scene of the accident and place a stone in his honor. Anyone who would like to ride would be most welcome. Anyone who would like to refresh their memories of who Padre was could visit the ALR 2 website at http://www.legionriderstempe.org/
