Another Mother asked President Truman, "Why did my Child have to die in Korea?" Another Mother asked President F.D. Roosevelt,"Why did my Child have to die at Iwo Jima ?" Another Mother asked President W. Wilson, "Why did my Child have to die on the battlefield of France ?" Yet another Mother asked President Lincoln,"Why did my Child have to die at Gettysburg ?" And yet another Mother asked President G.Washington, "Why did my Child have to die near Valley Forge?" Long, long ago a Mother (Mary) asked, "Heavenly Father, why did my Child have to die on a cross outside Jerusalim?" All the answers are so near the same. One died to save our Souls and the others died to protect our Freedoms.

My condolences to the Hopper Family.

I was discussing this PGR Mission with a few of the members of American Legion Post 35. One of the Vietnam Veterans actually recalls Col Hopper as a training officer before his second deployment to Vietnam. He said that Hoppers charisma and patriotism made a mark on him that was so profound that he can remember his face to this day!

See everyone tomorrow!
