I offer my most sincere prayers and extend my deepest sympathies to the family and friends of United States Marine Corps 1st Lt. Jason D. Mann who has made the ULTIMATE SACRAFICE while fighting to defend our nations freedom in the Global War on Terrorism in Afghanastan.  I pray that the Lord Jesus is there with you to hold you and to give you His Peace and Comfort as you bring your loved one home to be laid to rest.

Godspeed Lt Mann, rest easy brother, mission accomplished.

Usually at a time like this I struggle for words to comfort a friend who has suffered a loss. The right words don’t often come, but if accompanied by the right sentiment they can be soothing. But I have learned over time that the best comfort at a time like this comes from those who watch over us. My beliefs allow me to be comforted by a certainty that I am watched over by those who have gone before me.

My prayers and thoughts are with the family, friends, and the fellow Marines in 1Lt. Jason Mann's unit. Having read the post by the mother of a Marine in Jason's unit about how he lead his troops and keep their families informed it showed what a true leader he was. Our troops continue to keep all our families and our country safe and free and for that we will all be forever grateful and proud. I pray God will help this family with this sorrorful loss and hope they can hold on to the proud and loving memories of Jason. Standing by in Hazlet, NJ. This mission may end up being a multi-state mission. There have been 3 CACO's assigned to Lt. Mann's family. The primary CACO has been assigned to Lt. Mann's wife who is currently stationed in Virginia. A second CACO has been assigned to Lt. Mann's mother who still resides in New Jersey. I sent an email to the Virginia State Captain and advised him of my findings to date. If there are multiple missions in New Jersey and Virginia, condolences from the NJ PGR should be placed here, but the NJ portion of the mission will be developed on the New Jersey thread so as not to confuse the issue. I am waiting for one of Lt. Mann's brothers to call me to discuss the familiy's plans for the New Jersey portion of the services for Lt. Mann. I will further update as more information becomes available.
