To the family and loved ones of PO1 Ross L. Toles III, It is with great sorrow that I extend my condolences upon the loss of your Hero, who gave his all in the fight for freedom, and in the defense of his brothers and our grateful nation. May God give you strength until you meet again.
PO1 Toles, May God protect and guide your fellow warriors as they carry on without you; and bestow unto them, courage and strength to travel this most difficult path. I pray The Lord will grant your brothers the grace and perseverance to see the mission through.
Your sacrifice will remain in our hearts for a lifetime, with intense gratitude.

As I get ready to write to you, the words fall away as almost meaningless because of the pain I know you feel. I know, because I have felt that pain.
Know that you are NOT alone on this difficult path. Others are there to help you: reach out and embrace them, for they are offering not only themselves, but sharing with you that little bit of the Almighty that resides in all of us. This offering/sharing is what WILL give you the strength you will need to get thru. Trust me.
Any service related death, whether accident or illness, wounds received or KIA, warrant the Gold Star for the family. Don't let anyone tell you different.
I offer you my services, such as they are. If you want to talk, feel free to get in touch with me thru the PGR messaging. I WILL return your call/message. ANYTIME!
In the meantime know that my wife's and my prayers are with you.

This one has hit me pretty close to home. Ross Toles III is my nieces cousin. Though I have not met him, it still proves very few American lives haven't been touched by this fight against terrorism. Word we have received is that Ross will be returned home on Tuesday with"tentative" Thursday services....all UNCONFIRMED at this point. I hope to attend this potential mission due to the nature of the family connection. I'm sure if it does become a mission the many R/C's in Oakland Co. area will have things in order. Heavy hearted condolences to all of Ross' family, his friends and his comrades. May God in his mercy provide the means for them all to make it through this terrible time.
Ross: Rest in peace. You have given ALL and you will never be forgotten.
Standing by for mission details.

On behalf of April Toles, the family, friends and myself, I want to thank you for your kind posts. We find this most helpful in dealing with this time in our lives. Ross "Bulldog" with other brothers, sisters and I have in the past done missions for the PGR. I always said to myself that I hope I never have to be on the other side, well the day has come for it to happen. The one thing I know is that the Patriot Guard Riders are going to be there for me now. Apirl, the family, the brothers and sisters are also glad to now you will be there for them now. I am looking forward to shaking your hands on thursday.
God Bless, Ride safe. Freedom BAF/FBA |

Our sincere condolences to the family and friends of PO1 Ross L. Toles III. May God help you though this difficult time and sorrow. Know
your loved one was and is a Hero to us all. Our thoughts and prayers are with
you always. He will never be forgotten.
Rest Safely and Securely in God's Loving Arms, Ross.
Going home, going home,
I'm just going home.
Quiet-like, slip away-
I'll be going home.
It's not far, just close by;
Jesus is the Door;
Work all done, laid aside,
Fear and grief no more.
Friends are there, waiting now.
He is waiting, too.
See His smile! See His hand!
He will lead me through.
Morning
Star lights the way;
Restless dream all done;
Shadows gone, break of day,
Life has just begun.
Every tear wiped away,
Pain and sickness gone;
Wide awake there with Him!
Peace goes on and on!
Going home, going home,
I'll be going home.
See the Light! See the Sun!
I'm just going home.

Thank you for your service and sacrifice in defending and protecting our freedoms. As a nation we mourn your loss, and we will remember you always as a true American hero. To the family, I offer my prayers and support. I understand a little of what you are going through-my son, a Marine LCpl, was killed in Iraq. I pray wonderful memories of your dear warrior help eventually to ease the pain you endure today. Your hero will never be forgotten-he leaves a legacy of honor and courage that few will ever achieve.
