I would like to extend my deepest condolences to the family and friends of Cpl. Charles Bruno in this very sad time in your lives. My prayers are that our GOD may bring peace and comfort to all of you during this tragic time. Please know that not just me , but a country full of people like me owe you a debt that can never be repaid. We know that your loved one is now serving in the Army of our LORD in heaven, and the LORD said if I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again and recieve you unto myself that where I am there you may be also. I thank you for the sacrifice you and your family have endured so our nation can remain the home of the free because of the brave. We are all brothers and sisters in arms and we don't forget one of our own, rest in peace my comrade, your mission is complete and now it's time for you to rest. May GOD Bless each and everyone of you.

   *******************MISSION COMPLETE*********************

A beautiful Thursday morning greeted us as four PGR members gathered at the staging area in preparation for paying our Honor and Respect to Cpl Charles Bruno, US Army Veteran of the Forgotten War.

We established our flag line and maintained it until the start of services, setting it up once again as Charles was moved from the funeral home to the hearse for his final journey to Halcyon Hills Cemetery.

Upon arriving at the cemetery, we again set our  line as members of his family, including his grandson and WV PGR member Jason Bruno, moved him into the mausoleum for his final services.  We kept our line in place until the family departed and he was moved, once again, to the hearse for transport to his interment site.

I would like to thank the staff of Kepner Funeral Home for being so gracious and helpful to us during this mission as well as the members of the Bethlehem, WV police department for their excellence in ensuring the safety of all during the procession to the cemetery.

Special thanks goes out to PA RC Jack Garrett and Mark Bunner from traveling considerable distances to assist us in carrying out this Mission of Honor.

Jason, my condolences to you, your parents and your Grandmother, Mary, during this most difficult time.  May God watch over each of you and grant you the peace and comfort you all will need.

Rest in honored peace Charles.  Your mission is now complete.  God Speed sir.
Respects,
Joe
