Rest your head
Oh weary son
Your watch on earth
Now is done

In a land far away
you went to war
To keep the evil
From our shore

Staying on course
Always standing tall
Protecting our land
You gave your all

Blessed are those
That battle for right
For GOD has said
You are HEROS in HIS sight

Your honor and pride
Stood tall all the way
And now you have come
To the end of your day

Your watch is over
PGR will take it from here
With all the respect
We stand for so clear

You will ride in our hearts
Down the FLAG filled road
Thank you, BRAVE WARRIOR
You carried our load

Protecting us all
By both day and night
Never once flinching
In the heat of the fight

As we ride for you now
Our hearts filled with sorrow
Never to forget you
For all of the tomorrows

When the bugle plays TAPS
And the rifles will sound
Our hearts will be heavy
Our tears on the ground

You will be missed
By ones never met
You are our HERO
We will never forget

His memory must not fade
His sacrifice must never dim
We are still free
Because of HEROS like him

GOD BLESS OUR MIGHTY AND VIGILANT MILITARY. SECOND TO NONE. BECAUSE OF THEM WE ARE STILL FREE.

My deepest sympathy to the family of Sgt. John K. Daggett.  I appreciate all of his contributions to our country and may there be a special place for him in heaven.  All gave some and some gave all.  He gave his 'all' so young.  He has joined the ranks of heroes and I love him for that.  I will never forget.

Our heart felt condolences to the Daggett family and friends in the loss of John. Thank you for his service to this great country. Our prayers go out to God for you in this time of loss. John served to give us the freedom we now enjoy so much and for that he is one of the GREAT AMERICAN HEROS of the land. God bless your family and friends. Wish I could have shaken his hand and told him thank you myself. God tells us that “Greater love hath no man than this that a man lay down his life for his friends.” (John 15:13) As Christ our Lord laid down His life for us that believe in Him for salvation, so your love one has laid down his life for us for our freedom. This act has made him a Super Hero in my heart and I thank-you deeply for this sacrifice made for our freedoms. I pray that God will now bless your lives and help you see how great a thing this is which your loved one has done. The FALLEN MILITARY MEMBER has shown this country his greatest love for country and friends

Sgt Daggett, you are so truly appreciated. You bravely fought your battle here; I know you are now standing as a hero at heaven's gates, along with all our fallen warriors who have gone before you. Rest easy now John, and know that you will be remembered, always.

Thank you for your service and sacrifice in defending and protecting our freedoms. As a nation we mourn your loss, and we will remember you always as a true American hero. To the family, I offer my prayers and support. I understand a little of what you are going through-my son, a Marine LCpl, was killed in Iraq. I pray wonderful memories of your dear warrior help eventually to ease the pain you endure today. Your hero will never be forgotten-he leaves a legacy of honor and courage that few will ever achieve. God bless you. Julie Francis, Matt's Mom
