As I get ready to write to you, the words fall away as almost meaningless because of the pain I know you feel. I know, because I have felt that pain.

Know that you are NOT alone on this difficult path. Others are there to help you: reach out and embrace them, for they are offering not only themselves, but sharing with you that little bit of the Almighty that resides in all of us. This offering/sharing is what WILL give you the strength you will need to get thru. Trust me.

Any service related death, whether accident or illness, wounds received or KIA, warrant the Gold Star for the family. Don't let anyone tell you different.

I offer you my services, such as they are. If you want to talk, feel free to get in touch with me thru the PGR messaging. I WILL return your call/message. ANYTIME!

In the meantime know that my wife's and my prayers are with you.

Our heart felt condolences to the Gullett family and friends in the loss of Jeremy. Thank you for his service to this great country. Our prayers go out to God for you in this time of loss. Jeremy served to give us the freedom we now enjoy so much and for that he is one of the GREAT AMERICAN HEROS of the land. God bless your family and friends. Wish I could have shaken his hand and told him thank you myself. God tells us that “Greater love hath no man than this that a man lay down his life for his friends.” (John 15:13) As Christ our Lord laid down His life for us that believe in Him for salvation, so your love one has laid down his life for us for our freedom. This act has made him a Super Hero in my heart and I thank-you deeply for this sacrifice made for our freedoms. I pray that God will now bless your lives and help you see how great a thing this is which your loved one has done. The FALLEN MILITARY MEMBER has shown this country his greatest love for country and friends

You are truly appreciated, Spc Gullett. I know you have been welcomed as a hero at heaven's gates, along with all our fallen warriors who have gone before you. Rest easy now Jeremy, and know you will be forever remembered here.

Thank you for your service and sacrifice in defending and protecting our freedoms. As a nation we mourn your loss, and we will remember you always as a true American hero. To the family, I offer my prayers and support. I understand a little of what you are going through-my son, a Marine LCpl, was killed in Iraq. I pray wonderful memories of your dear warrior help eventually to ease the pain you endure today. Your hero will never be forgotten-he leaves a legacy of honor and courage that few will ever achieve. God bless you. Julie Francis, Matt's Mom

I send my heartfelt condolences to the family of Spc. Jeremy R. Gullett. Please know your loved one is a hero in the hearts of true patriots all across America. Many of our citizens will never know the sacrifices made by those who defend our freedoms, or the sacrifices made by their families and loved ones…as a veteran, I know. Jesus said, “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends”. Though I did not know Jeremy personally, his sacrifice and service to the United States of America makes him my “friend”. God be with you.

My deepest sympathy to the family of Spc. Jeremy R. Gullett. I appreciate all of his contributions to our country and may there be a special place for him in heaven. He gave his 'all' so young. He has joined the ranks of heroes and I love him for that. He is America's son, and I am an American. That makes him partly my loss too. I will never forget.
