| I would like to extend my deepest condolences to the family and friends in this very sad time in your lives. My prayers are that our GOD may bring peace and comfort to all of you during this tragic time. Please know that not just me , but a country full of people like me owe you a debt that can never be repaid. We know that your loved one is now serving in the Army of our LORD in heaven, and the LORD said if I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again and recieve you unto myself that where I am there you may be also. I thank you for the sacrifice you and your family have endured so our nation can remain the home of the free because of the brave. We are all brothers and sisters in arms and we don't forget one of our own, rest in peace my comrade, your mission is complete and now it's time for you to rest. May GOD Bless each and everyone of you. |

| Spc Tucker, you are so truly appreciated. You stand now a hero at heavens gates, along with all our fallen warriors who have gone before you. Rest easy now, Ronald, and know you will never be forgotten here. |

Thank you for your service and sacrifice in defending and protecting our freedoms. As a nation we mourn your loss, and we will remember you always as a true American hero. To the family, I offer my prayers and support. I understand a little of what you are going through-my son, a Marine LCpl, was killed in Iraq. I pray wonderful memories of your dear warrior help eventually to ease the pain you endure today. Your hero will never be forgotten-he leaves a legacy of honor and courage that few will ever achieve. God bless you. Julie Francis, Matt's Mom |

Final Inspection
The soldier stood and faced God, Which must always come to pass. He hoped his shoes were shining. Just as brightly as his brass. "Step forward now, soldier. How shall I deal with you? Have you always turned the other cheek? To My Church have you been true?" The soldier squared his shoulders and said, "No, Lord, I guess I ain't. Because those of us who carry guns, Can't always be a saint. I've had to work most Sundays, And at times my talk was tough. And sometimes I've been violent, Because the world is awfully rough. But, I never took a penny, That wasn't mine to keep.... Though I worked a lot of overtime. When the bills just got too steep. And I never passed a cry for help, Though at times I shook with fear. And sometimes, God, forgive me, I've wept unmanly tears. I know I don't deserve a place, Among the people here. They never wanted me around, Except to calm their fears. If you've a place for me here, Lord. It needn't be so grand. I never expected or had too much, But if you don’t, I’ll understand. There was a silence all around the throne, Where the saints had often trod. As the soldier waited quietly, For the judgment of his God. "Step forward now, soldier you’ve borne your burdens well. Walk peacefully on Heaven’s streets; you’ve done your time in Hell."

Dear Lord,
Lest I continue
My complacent way,
Help me to remember that somewhere,
Somehow out there
A man died for me today.
As long as there be war, I then must
Ask and answer
Am I worth dying for?

Staging for this mission will be at Pikes Peak Christian Church, 4955 Bradley Road.
Stage: 0845
Brief: 0900
Flagline: 0915
Driving directions to Pikes Peak Christian Church:
From Denver or Pueblo, take I-25 to the South Academy Blvd exit and head north on Academy Blvd to the Bradley Road exit. Head east on Bradley Road through the traffic light at Hancock Expressway. The church will be on the right side of the road just past the light, and we will stage in the eastern parking lot.
For riders in Colorado Springs, take Academy Blvd south to Bradley Road. If driving on Powers, turn west on Drennan Road, south on Hancock, and east on Bradley Road.
I will post a map of the location to the thread this evening.
I was informed by the staff at Dove-Witt Mortuary that Governor Ritter's wife will be presenting a Colorado state flag to the family of Specialist Tucker. With the additional media coverage that this will bring, I'd like to reiterate the following PGR mission rule:
"Keep in mind that we are there to respect the family, and check your vests for any patches which may contain offensive language. Those patches can be covered with masking tape for the duration of the mission."
Don't mean to be a hard case about this, but the media occasionally focuses on the negative. I'll have tape with me if anyone needs it.
