Our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Capt. Rowdy J. Inman. May God help you though this difficult time and sorrow. He is one of America's Heroes that will never be forgotten.

Rest Safely and Securely in God's Loving Arms, Rowdy.

Going home, going home,
I'm just going home.
Quiet-like, slip away-
I'll be going home.
It's not far, just close by;
Jesus is the Door;
Work all done, laid aside,
Fear and grief no more.
Friends are there, waiting now.
He is waiting, too.
See His smile! See His hand!
He will lead me through.

Morning Star lights the way;
Restless dream all done;
Shadows gone, break of day,
Life has just begun.
Every tear wiped away,
Pain and sickness gone;
Wide awake there with Him!
Peace goes on and on!
Going home, going home,
I'll be going home.
See the Light! See the Sun!
I'm just going home.

To an outstanding Father, Husband, Soldier, American.

Rowdy, I'll miss you brother. I so wish that we could have met up when you came through Baghdad. Even though I'm stuck here, Rachel will make it to see your wonderful wife and kids. My heart aches at the thought of your kids missing out on such a great father. I'll never forget our days in Dragon Company and Tiger Squadron. You'll be greatly missed and I'll always wish that we could have had that one last ride together. Godspeed brother. I'll see you at Fiddler's Green!

Brave Rifles! Veterans! Blood and Steel! AI-EE-YAH!

It's with a heavy heart that I ask CenTex to prepare for the arrival, escort and burial of a friend, Cpt. Rowdy J. Inman. I served with Cpt. Inman when he was a NCO. He was a good man. It's a great loss to all Americans.

Cpt Inman arrived at Dover, Maryland yesterday and will be ready for transport to Robert Gray Army Airfield on Fort Hood, Texas as soon as his brother and escort join him at Dover AFB. His escort arrived in Dover yesterday.

We expect Cpt. Inman will arrive at Robert Gray Army Airfield on Fort Hood, Texas on Tuesday, 1 Jan 2008.
His family wishes for a Friday memorial service. There will be no graveside service since Cpt. Inman is to be cremated.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, 4 January 2008 at Harper Talasic Funeral Home on 38th Street in Killeen, Texas with a time to be determined.

Rowdy, I'll see you in Fiddler's Green when I get there. Scout's Out!!!!

Capt. Inman you are so deeply appreciated. I know you have been welcomed as a hero at heaven's gates by all our fallen warriors who have gone before you. You rest easy now, Rowdy....you have completed your selfless mission here, and we will not forget you.

Thank you for your service and sacrifice in defending and protecting our freedoms. As a nation we mourn your loss, and we will remember you always as a true American hero. To the family, I offer my prayers and support. I understand a little of what you are going through-my son, a Marine LCpl, was killed in Iraq. I pray wonderful memories of your dear warrior help eventually to ease the pain you endure today. Your hero will never be forgotten-he leaves a legacy of honor and courage that few will ever achieve.
