My husband (Tony) and I would like to say that our prayers and thoughts are with the family of Spc Geiger. We are the parents of 2nd Cavalry Strykers (out of Vilseck) and pray every day that we don't have to feel the pain that this family is feeling. To Spc Geiger's Mom, i would like to say that I know that this is never the pain a Mom wants to feel, but our pride as Mom's runs very deep. To Dad I would like to say, you raised a "Real Hero" and stay proud with that. My oldest son told me just a few days ago that his unit (3-2 SCR, #43467) said that his unit had a really bad day and he would tell me later. When I asked him about what had happened that day, which was Thursday or Friday of last week, he just said he didn't want to talk about it...now I know why. God Bless Spc Geiger and his family that must deal with such a loss...And God Bless PGR for looking out for the families during such a hard time.
