Thank you for your service Zachary.
I will not be able to stand the flag line to honor this fine man due to the death of my brother, as I told Lance and Alan I know that all the members of the PGR will be there and my heart will be with them. Take care and be safe.

It is a hard thing to accept when we lose our children or the one we had hoped to spend the rest of our lives with. There will be many days in the near future when you don't know how you will survive through the day. But know that God will not give you a weight you cannot bear. You need only ask for His help. If I could, I would take some of that weight for you. All of us in the Patriot Guard Riders feel your pain. We also feel enormous respect, honor and appreciation for what Zach has done in his life. He answered the call of his country that many choose to ignore. I believe that you all feel blessed for having known him. Carry him with you in your hearts always. His battles are all over and he is resting in the hands of God. You will see him again one day.

You are truly appreciated, Sgt Tomczak. It seems heaven is needing more and more heroes; I know you are now walking there, in the presence of our Lord, along with all our fallen warriors who have gone before you. Rest easy now, Zachary....you will not be forgotten.

Thank you for your service and sacrifice in defending and protecting our freedoms. As a nation we mourn your loss, and we will remember you always as a true American hero. To the family, I offer my prayers and support. I understand a little of what you are going through-my son, a Marine LCpl, was killed in Iraq. I pray wonderful memories of your dear warrior help eventually to ease the pain you endure today. Your hero will never be forgotten-he leaves a legacy of honor and courage that few will ever achieve. God bless you. Julie Francis, Matt's Mom

Because of your ultimate sacrifice the red of our flag runs deeper, the blue more beautiful, the white more brilliant and the stars shine brighter. Thanks Bro, from the bottom of my heart!

Lord God,
You have called your servants to ventures of which we cannot see the ending, by paths as yet untrodden, through perils unknown. Give us faith to go out with good courage, not knowing where we go, but only that your hand is leading us and your love supporting us; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen

Several dozen riders from various groups braved the early morning cold and blustery conditions and rode to Huron for today's mission. Minnesota riders staged at two different locations, meeting in Brookings, where we were joined by several more SD riders, and greeted by the Watertown Ride Captain, Tom Wright, before he left to attend his brother's funeral.

As we traveled Hwy 14 to Huron, we picked up several more riders along the way, who had been waiting at gas stations for us to pass by. Finally reaching Huron, we joined the riders already there, and certainly enjoyed the hot coffee and donuts. Thank you to whomever provided them.

]Here is a picture link of today's mission.

It was our privlege to help out with this mission, and thank you to all who stood the flag line, in person or in spirit.

To the family of SSgt Tomczak: You will remain in our thoughts and prayers in the days to come.
