Cpl Paredes, you are so truly appreciated. It seems heaven is needing more and more young heroes. Rest easy now, Javier.....you have completed your selfless mission here, and you will not be forgotten.

Thank you for your service and sacrifice in defending and protecting our freedoms. As a nation we mourn your loss, and we will remember you always as a true American hero. To the family, I offer my prayers and support. I understand a little of what you are going through-my son, a Marine LCpl, was killed in Iraq. I pray wonderful memories of your dear warrior help eventually to ease the pain you endure today. Your hero will never be forgotten-he leaves a legacy of honor and courage that few will ever achieve. God bless you. Julie Francis, Matt's Mom

MISSION COMPLETE.

Thank you to the thirty riders who paid respects to Corporal Paredes and his family today. Special thanks to Darrell for bringing the flags and cold water.

Javier's four Brothers (one of whom is a Marine), his Aunt, his Cousin, the staff from the Hill Country Youth Ranch and the Chaplain all said to tell you thanks for being there. They said that it did their hearts good to see all those people who didn't know him, but still care.

Rest In Peace, Javier.

I would like convey my deepest condolences to the family and friends of this American hero who stood tall for their homeland. I know this is a very sad time in your lives but remember you knew a hero first hand the rest of us just get to hear about them. Please know that your loved one is now serving in the Army of our Lord and Savior in heaven and the Lord said if I go to prepare a place for you,and if I go and prepare a place for you I will come again and recieve you unto myself that where I am there you may be also. Know that it says in the Bible in 2nd Corinthians 5:8 ,We are confident I say, willing rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord. I pray that our LORD and SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST will bring all of you comfort for we know it is us left behind here on earth that suffer, for our loved ones are in HEAVEN with GOD and he will not allow them to suffer again as they have paid the ultimate price so as to allow us left here to enjoy the freedom we have here in America. No one can ever say that your loved one isn't a hero they were willing to serve when so many aren't or feel that they don't want to. I would like you to know that not just me but a country full of Americans are free because of the sacrifice they made in the name of freedom. May God Bless each and everyone of you
