Very sorrow I was unable to attend the escort from the airport Wednesday.  I got ready to leave, started to get the bike out of the garage, and it wouldn't crank.  Problem is solved, and I will be present Saturday Morning at the staging area.

Lord, please comfort and grant your peace that surpasses all human understanding to the family and friends of Spc. Christopher G. Patton. Amen. This brave young man answered the call of his country and his sacrifice will not be forgotten. Take heart in that there are many Americans, many who have never met him, honoring Spc. Patton for his courage and his service to this nation. There are also many Americans, and again many who do not know Christopher or your family, praying for you right now. I knew Chris. He lived just four houses down, and grew up and graduated high school with one of my daughters. I know that he was truly doing what he wanted to do. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. I am immensly proud that Chris served for me, his family, his friends, his comrades in arms, and his country. It will be one of my greatest honors to stand the line for Chris. May St. Patrick, the Patron Saint of Paratroopers stand by him and protect him on his final patrol.

He will be missed!
