I served with Spc Kenny for 7 months in AIT.  He was one of my best friends, one of the best soldiers, and a true patriot.  I cried when I heard the news, and I hope I will see him again one day.  I have so many memories of him, he always loved to make people laugh.

A big thank you and much appreciation go out to BJ Jones and Jim 'Kickstand' Jacobs as they will be co-RC/Mc's. They have already been working behind the scenes in case the family gives us the opportunity to honor their loved one. They will post the times and staging areas as things are worked out.

I encourage all PGR members to join us in showing honor to this soldier and comfort to his family.

Just hung up with Kalitta Charters, and learned that Spc Joseph Kenny will be arriving at the Eugene Airport at 1115hrs (11:15 AM) 30 June 2007. He will be coming in on Flight number KFS 8099. Standby for the Staging Area info. Thanks for your cooperation.

Can anyone in the area please send me a message or post here AS SOON as you learn about the memorial, I will try and take emergency leave to see my friend, and I have a drill sergeant from AIT that deeply wants to attend the memorial, and wants to know when it is. Kenny was my roomate, and one of my best friends, and I miss him. If I can not attend, I trust that you guys will show the proper respect his deserves.

Hello All,
#1. Tomorrow (Sat June 30th) at 1000 hours we will meet at Jerry's Home Improvement Center at the crossroads of Beltline and Hwy. 99. KSU at 1030 for the short ride to the Eugene Airport. Escort to the West Lawn Cemetery will follow.
#2. Monday (July 2nd) the service is at Elmira High School at 1500 hours. I will post this final meeting/staging location for those that will make this mission on July 2nd. I will be making a ride to scope the entire route so we can give the required Honor that this fine solider deserves.

In preparation for the ride for Joseph we will be meeting Saturday, June 30th at 8:30 a.m. with ksu @ 9:00 a.m. at the Chevron Station off I-5 exit 125 on Garden Valley by Bank of America in Roseburg Oregon.
