My condolences to the family and friends of SPC Clifton.  I thank you for your sacrifice for your country.  You made it possible for all Americans and freedom loving people around the world to sleep soundly, taking up arms against those who would do us harm.  Your courage and dedication to duty will go on with those who served with you, your legacy will live on.  Your mission is complete, you will now stand tall at the right hand of our Father with all those who went before you.   I will stand in honor of you tomorrow as I stand at services for Capt. Steele, another fallen Hero from Illinios.

May the spirit that unites bring you peace and strength as you mourn the loss of your Karen.  As time goes by, and pain eases, may you again glory in the joy that this child brought into your life.  Rest easy, Karen.  We are here to support your family and friends.

As the song says so well…
“I’m proud to be an American,
where at least I know I’m free.
And I won’t forget the men(and women) who died,
who gave that right to me.”

Thank you to an American hero!

If I should go tomorrow
It would never be goodbye,
For I have left my heart with you,
So don't you ever cry.
The love that's deep within me,
Shall reach you from the stars,
You'll feel it from the heavens,
And it will heal the scars.

Thank you Karen for paying the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms.
