Kile's Mother and I cannot express in words the deep appreciation we have for all of the kind words in this string. Kile will not be in Texas until Wednesday at some point. We would appreciate the guard escorting us from the airport to the funeral home where Kile will stay for a few days. The family and close friends intend to have a private visitation Thursday evening from 5 to 7 pm. If the guard would protect the family at that time also we would be grateful. Then finally we will have the services at 10:30 am on Saturday (6-9 like his 6-9 cav) at the Lifeway church in Killeen. We expect then to drive in procession from the church to the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery on highway 195. We have been asked to be completely inside the cemetery by Noon since they are only opening for our KIA hero. Thank you all for your support. Robert Falcon at the Heritage Funeral Home in Killeen will cooridinate all arrangements. Sincerely, Grady West - Kile's Father from Houston.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to the family and friends of 1LT West, a TRUE AMERICAN HERO. Our freedoms have been protected by all these great people that put on the uniform and volunteer to stand up for us. Many years of shedding tears have gone by and unfortunately we will shed more. One thing for certain though, we will have today’s heroes to thank for allowing us to live in such a great nation. Too sad others can’t see the light. Our soldiers are the greatest bunch of people on this earth and as we move forward we owe a special thanks to them and their families. Without the family support it is hard to have such Great Americans. “You Will Never Be Forgotten”

1LT Kile West, congratulatons on your recent promotion and thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for protecting the freedoms me and my family enjoy every day, even though thankless Americans often seem to take them for granted. Your are the ultimate American Hero and although there may not be a large statue erected in your likeness, you are already a monument in my mind and larger than life to many, many more. I pray peace and comfort come to your family and friends during the difficult days ahead and you travel down a wonderful road on your journey to your final home with the Father. God bless you all!

Ell Tee, thank you for your service, thank you for your sacrifice. This nation will be forever in your debt. You have paid the highest price for our freedoms. and you will never be forgotten. We now add your name to the long list of American heros who have given all for a concept that allows us the freedoms we enjoy. No system of government is perfect, but I believe we have the best system going and our brave young men and women have marched off to war for centuries to ensure that system survives.
We will stand tall and silent and grieve with your family. Many of our members have experienced the crushing loss of losing a loved one in this war on terrorism and know exactly what your family is going through. We offer your family our condolences, our, gratitude and our support.
Stand down, soldier, your mission is accomplished.
