Lord, please comfort and grant your peace that surpasses all human understanding to the family and friends of Spc. Joseph A. Gilmore. Amen. This brave man answered the call of his country and his sacrifice will not be forgotten. Take heart in that there are many Americans, many who have never met him, honoring Spc. Gilmore for his courage and his service to this nation. There are also many Americans, and again many who do not know Joseph or your family, praying for you right now. Call upon the Lord and He will strengthen you during this time of great loss. 1 Samuel 7:5...I will pray for you unto the Lord.

23 May 2007 6:19 AM Alert

I have spoken with the case manager from the Dept. of Army. He has informed me that there will be no services in Florida.

Webster, FL was the home of record only for Spc. Gilmore.
Spc. Gilmore's wife lives in the Fort Hood area and any services will be conducted in Texas. I will forward this on to the Texas State Captain.

Please keep this soldier, his family, and his friends in your prayers.
