Confirmed Mission: Sgt. Greg N. Riewer, 30, Frazee, MN

The family has requested that the Patriot Guard Riders provide the same Mission function as had been done for SSG Joshua Hanson.

We will escort Sgt. Riewer from the Fargo Airport to the Detroit Lakes Minnesota National Guard Armory.  Following a short service at the Armory we would then escort Sgt. Riewer to the Furey Funeral Home in Frazee.  All routes and dates will be determined once Sgt. Riewer's arrival point has been finalized.  There is the possibility of him arriving directly at the Detroit Lakes Airport.  Subsequent Funeral Mission is unknown as to date, staging and escort duty as those plans are in the works.  The CAO will notify me as soon as their plans are finalized.  This will be a two day Mission.

Respectfully,

David Woodward

Words can never replace the wounds of the heart for those who have lost their loved ones on the field of honor.
But, I extend my deepest sympathies and prayers to all of those who knew and loved Sgt. Riewer, and ask that HE
who never slumbers or sleeps to watch over all of you during the days of sadness and dispair.

I am sure that some warm evening you will feel the gentle breeze against your cheek, and be remindful of the
light kiss of love that comes from those who have passed before us into the Eternal Realm of Love.

Greg will always be with you, as heros never die, and he will always be close by to guide and love each of
you in ways that are beyond our earthly manner. But, you will know that he is near. He now has joined
the Angel's Brigade, standing watch over God's Universe and all of us who are left behind. Heaven has
just welcomed home another honored soul into it's ranks.

God's speed Sgt. Greg....you have done us proud, and someday we all will be able to thank you in person!
