Thanks much Barry and Joe.  Got back, myself, around 6:45 and actually saw a couple moments of some bright, shiny object in the sky.  Rumor has it, it might have been the sun but I'll withhold final judgement until I see it again!

Thank you's to ALL who braved less than favorable weather conditions today to stand in Honor of Mr. Hefner.  An extra thank you to those who were making their first mission as you had the opportunity to see exactly what we do and why we do it.  Those who are new, West Virginia, members, please e-mail me so I may add you to our membership list.

Although Ron will be adding his own special thank you's, I want to offer mine, again, to Ed and Mark for doing the preliminary scouting for this mission.  Without your assistance, this would not have gone as smoothly as it did.

A final thank you is given to John's family for inviting us to participate in your Father's services.  Please know it was OUR honor to show him the Respect he earned throughout his service to our country.  His service shall never be forgotten.

God Speed Mr. Hefner.  May you rest in everlasting peace.

Arrived home drying out as the sun finally made its presence.  So many people deserve a giant thank you for helping me set this up.  MARK , thanks for the map and scouting for me.  ED , thanks for stepping up, scouting, and lending a big hand with the cagers.  You guys were a huge help.  Bud, Alice,Barry,George,Pat, thank you guys for making the trip to stand with us.  I really enjoy  your comradery.  You're top-notch people.  To all new members, thank you for joining us in honoring this fine man.  You all should be proud, 'cause the family felt so appreciative we were there for them.

Joe, Paula, thanks you guys.  I'm glad to know I always have a source of info if I need it.

To Dean and the staff at the Markwood funeral home.  Thank you so much for working with us and helping to ease some of the pain for the Hefner family.  We were quite proud to work with you all.

John, brother, I feel your pain.  I know what it's like.  I am thankful, for all of us, for the opportunity to stand for your father.  I can tell from your family he was a fine man.  Keep him in your heart and he will always be there.  God bless you and the whole Hefner family.

                                                                                                           Ride safe,
                                                                                                            Ron J.
