Hugs From Heaven
When you feel a gentle breeze Caress you when you sigh It's a hug sent from Heaven From your loved one way up high.
If a soft and tender raindrop Lands upon your nose They've added a small kiss As fragile as a rose.
If a song you hear fills you With a feeling of sweet love It's a hug sent from Heaven From your someone special up above.
If you awaken in the morning To a bluebird's chirping song It's music sent from Heaven To cheer you all day long.
If tiny little snowflakes Land upon your face It's a hug sent from Heaven Trimmed with Angel lace.
So keep the joy in your heart If you're lonely my dear friend Hugs that are sent from Heaven A broken heart will mend. Thank you for making the ultimate sacrifice for my family and our counrty. You will not be forgotten. God bless you and your family |

Steve Meyer and Mike Schultz met with Pastor MacDonald today, and discussed details of the mission in Honor of PO2 Krutke.
Steve also inspected the cemetery, and met with the Wenig Funeral Home people.
Steve will be at the base for the Welcome Home mission for the 961st Engr. Bn. He will bring with him aerial photos of the locations, suggested staging areas, desired flag locations, procession route, etc.
There will be a pre ride brief for anyone attending tomorrow's Welcome Home, and also expecting to attend the Honor Mission for PO2 Krutke. Steve can discuss the details of his recon, and advise us his recommendations. An announcement will be made at the base as to time and location. I hope we can pull this group aside while the troops are reuniting with their families, before we wish them well on their exit.
Melissa has arranged a meeting room.
Expected RC coverage is as follows:
Visitation: Scott Bengert [early] and Ben (TopJeff) Jefferson [late].
Funeral: Paul Steffensen, myself, and possibly Jeff DeVries.
Mission details will be worked out over the next few days, and the itinerary will be updated early next week.
I would like to Thank everyone for stepping up for this mission. No wonder it is an Honor to be PGR.
I would especially like to Thank Steve and Mike for your recon work. Your thoroughness and attention to detail will ensure the success of this mission. Your effort is appreciated more than you can possibly imagine.
