Another successful mission for a deserving young American hero. Welcome home Brian. It was an honor to be a part of this mission.

Hopefully, your neighbors will get over the trauma of 120 bikes invading the cul-de-sac.

This was an amazing day. The location at the airport that we "impromptu" stopped at, was not the proper place, but Airport Security let us stay there. The ajoining shaded "hill" side was a prefect gathering place for us. When Blake emerged from his tour of the Airport he definitly was not expecting such an awesome sight of 120 bikers and their 30+ passengers cheering from above. Then the escort home with the family car tucked between the big flag bikes and the other bikes was a prefect location.

The escort formation stayed tight for the 45 mile trip. The ride got a little hairy from wind gusts while going over the ShipChannel and the Kemah bridge. But we made it safe to the Gilmore neighborhood. And there was BOOMER to guide us on the last leg of the journey. This was a wonderfull day.

Thank you Brian for your service and to allow us to have some time with you.

It was an honor to stand with all my brothers and sisters at the Airport. I think that by the look on Pvt Gilmore's face when he saw us all was what made the long trip, and everything else worth it. I know that with our showing up, he now knows that what he has done was not for nothing like all the news people try to make it out to be. I am sure that he will pass on to his fellow soldiers that America is supporting what they are dong.

It was also great to know that his family are neighbors! If he ever has to leave agian, I would be proud and honored to help look after his family. That would be the least I can do!

    I was truly blown away!!!!!

I would like to sincerely say thank you to all of you not only for your efforts in arranging for such a great Welcome Home, but for taking your time to come out to escort me home.  It truly was a lifetime experience.  Allowing me and my family to experience something like this is unbelievable.  I will continue to tell all my friends and military buddies about the experience and to show pictures of it to all.  It was a damn GOOD ride home.

It is most rewarding for me to see that our country has people like all of you, with the dedication, commitment and passion for our country and in support of all of us in the military.  It makes me realize that what my buddies and I do is appreciated no matter what the news media might say

    Thank you,

    PFC Brian Gilmore
