It is my intention to attend the memorial for Sgt Pfister. Those of us coming from NW OR & SW WA will probably head east on I-84, so I'd suggest those of us that wish to ride as a group meet at the Flying J (Troutdale exit 17). I'll be taking my cage so will have room for 2 or 3 riders.

Sgt Travis Pfister,

Thank you for your willingness to defend the United States of America and all that we hold sacred. Though tears can never bring you back, we hope that our tears express our gratitude for the sacrifice that you made and our sorrow at your passing. You are truly a hero and your sacrifice will never be forgotten. Your mission on earth is complete. Stand down brave warrior and take your rightful place in Heaven with all the heroes who have passed before.

To the family and friends of Sgt Pfister, we offer our deepest sympathy and condolences. May God smile down upon you in this time of deep sorrow and grant you the strength and conviction to carry on. May you find joy in fond memories and peace in knowing that your loss was not in vain. A grateful nation stands with you.

To all those planning on (weather permitting) riding to the service out of Yakima and surrounding areas. I will be leaving Yakima from Owens HD at 8:45. Anyone that wants to join me along I-82 please do. We should be arriving at the meeting place in the Tri Cities right about 10:00am, should give us enough time for some hot coffee. This will be a very nice ride if the sun stays out. I look forward to see you at Owens around 8:30. Herb

jrjenson...I live in Fairview and live fairly close to the Flying J, but not close enough to walk there to meet up. I would like to attend this Mission and ride with you, but curious if you still have room for another rider, and if so do you pick up your riders on the way? If you're all full, then could you post what time you're going to meet up at the Flying J, and I'll take my cage. MsLB Fairview, OR

A little early, but I will plan on this mission from Beaverton. Would like to meet the group at the Flying J on the way, but I am not an RC. Will need a time for the stage at the Flying J, perhaps about 7 AM??

I would love to stage at Paradise HD if others want to meet there around 6:00 AM ish.

Waiting on more detail. Thank you all for your willingnesss to stand and honor this Hero!

MsLb - I should have plenty of room for you to ride with me and, with you living "next door" in Fairview, I'll be glad to pick you up. Right now, you're the only "confirmed" passenger but I've invited Q (the photographer) to ride with me as well and I'll know tomorrow if my wife's coming on the ride as well. Regardless, my cage is big enough so we'll have plenty of room. (By the way, that's JensEn - I'm an "e" Dane, not an "o" Swed)
