I send my deepest condolences to the family and friends of Spc. Elias Elias. Your watch is over and your comrades who have gone before you have welcomed you into heaven. Everyone in this country should honor you for your ultimate sacrifice in protecting our nation’s freedom from those who would cause terror against us. We take so much for granted in our day-to-day lives, but we must never forget the thousands of soldiers and airman who are deployed in foreign countries; fighting to protect our freedom. In memory of Sgt. Robert Kassin, Sgt. Leroy Segura and Captain Kermit Evans; along with the many men and women deployed from Cannon AFB, you are all heroes and thank you for protecting our country.

==============================

When a mans heart is full of deceit it burns up, dies and a dark shadow falls over his soul. From the ashes of a once great man has risen a curse, a wrong that must be righted. We look to the skies for a vindicator, someone to strike fear into the black hearts of the same men who created him. The battle between good and evil has begun. Against an army of shadows comes the Dark Warrior, the purveyor of good, with a voice of silence and a mission of justice. - Steve "Sting" Borden

Vance - Simi Valley, Don - Oxnard, Primo - Whittier, Leslie and Gary - Glendora, Bill - San Gab. Valley, JoAnn/Shanti Das,

Specialist Elias was the driver and translator for Commander Lt. Col.Phillips. This was his fourth tour of duty.
Staff Sergeant Genz was there to honor his good friend and fellow comrade, as they served together in Iraq.

Graveside was at Covina Hills Forest Lawn. The location was at the highest grassy knoll overlooking the crystal clear San Gabriel Valley and mountains. Spc. Elias father arrived from Lebanon to honor his dear son. Many family and friends were there as well to honor this brave and courageous hero. Our heart goes out to Elias's wife for her loss of such a great and devoted husband.

It was an honor to RC this mission with Gunny as co RC.

Respectfully submitted.........Winger/RC
