Jumper and the McHenry County Gang.
Let’s leave kinda early on Sunday at Jumper’s favorite rest room location on 62 and 25. (Man I went in there Sunday and it’s no better, yikes go before ya go.) How about we meet between 0830 and 0900?...Kickstands up at 0905?…Maybe we can rip up Lake Shore Drive a bit on the way…Jon D can set off countless car alarms, terrify the cabbies. We can get to the staging area early enough to socialize. Meet Chris in person. Maybe get some autographs of our favorite PGR’s. Get some shots of Ed wiping the sleepers from his eyes? Bug Lil Andy a bit. See what Top Cat is riding, ops Tom Cat, sorry. Listen for Coastie’s bike.
All kinds a fun stuff before we need to straighten up and fly right for the big event.
How bout it?
Who’s with me?
Jumper?
Jon D?
Sr and Jr Hog?
Lake Zurich Mike?
Smitty?
---Coastie you can ride up 59 and meet us..
Anybodyelse??
Jon D you probably want to hit the Oar on the way home ifyatwistmyarm I may go too.
P.S. Dont forget about the Morris Parade and the Elgin homecoming both coming up in October

Sounds like Big Joe's onto something here. How about the 59/64 gang rides up to McHenry (62/25) and we all go in together? We can pre-stage at my place at 0730 and go K-up at 0745 to be there by 0830.

Northern? JustJohn? JP? HarleyDoc? Others?

Go sideline if you need directions. And Joe isn't kidding about the facilities there - you do not want to use them.

Chris, I'll keep Chicago's noise ordinance in mind when I fire up the mighty Beemer. I'll stay off "the pipes". Actually, I figure if they average my noise with JonD's, we're probably at or about the limit.

I look forward to honoring the Moms of our nations's heroes; heroes in their own right for the sacrifices they've made raising men and women who understood the value of freedom, sent their loved ones off to defend that freedom, and now have to live with their absense so we can enjoy our freedom. God Bless the Gold Star Moms!

Respectfully,

John

I'm on to ride (drive) with you and Trish and whoever else shows up at your place to wherever the road takes us on the way to Navy Pier.  Does anyone know how long this event is expected to last once it kicks off?

To My Fellow P.G.R.

From experience, the best approach to Navy Pier is from the Kennedy X-way (I-90/94) and exit at Ohio St. Go east to the first light which is Orleans St. Turn right (south) for 2 blocks to Illinois St. Turn left (east) and take Illinois St. all the way into Navy Pier.

If you are coming from the northside, take LSD southbound and exit at Grand Ave. Cross Grand to Illinois St. and turn left (east).

If you are coming from the southside, take LSD northbound and exit at Grand Ave. You will be in clear view of Navy Pier.

Ride Safely & see you all there!
