"Please Don't stand and Weep
Those men I had to save
Not because of Courage
or because I'm Brave

Not because of Orders
or because it was my Dream
I did it for my Brothers
I did it for the Team

So Please Don't weep for me
for all I had to give
I did it for a reason

Cpl. Johnathan L. Benson, your mission is over. Rest in peace fellow patriot.

Family and friends of Cpl. Benson. my spouse and I send our deepest condolences. We pray God's blessing to you during this time.

Rev. Robert Schuller said "Great people are common people who have committed themselves to uncommon goals!" I would say that Cpl. Benson committed himself to uncommon goals and became a hero in the process. Thank you for sharing your son with us. He has made a difference and to help ensure the freedoms we have.

God Bless you.
