The Fallen...
Through Their Memory
They Still Give...

We thought of you with love today
But that is nothing new.
We thought about you yesterday
And days before that too.

We think of you in silence
We often speak your name.

Now all we have are memories
And your picture in a frame.

Your memory is our keepsake
With which we'll never part

God has you in His keeping
We have you in our Heart.

Life is unpredictable, so to try and predict what is ahead is only asking for disappointment. Just live it as we can. Love and love of life will help us be guided in our decisions as we go forward.

You can close your eyes, you can say it's a lie, your can stick your head in the sand. You can turn away, you can try to explain that he was just another man. When they nailed him to the cross by his hands and his feet and they put him in the ground...3 days later EVERYBODY found out that you can't, no you can't KEEP A GOOD MAN DOWN!

Your family may have heavy hearts, but we pray that they understand that you proudly served and you gave the supreme sacrifice so that we may continue to enjoy our freedom in these great United States of America. From the High School playing fields of Portal, GA to the battle fields of Kondoz, Afghanistan, SGT Brock Chavers was a standout…as a football star and combat warrior. Natural talent, drive and desire to do their best is a hallmark of great men, and SGT Chavers certainly is a great man and hero. Well known and loved throughout his home town community and amongst his combat brothers and sisters. He touched many lives in his 25 years of life and he will be genuinely missed...we will never forget you SGT Chavers, and the sacrifice you made for us on the battlefields of Afghanistan.

Thank you sir and I salute you. You have now taken your place of honor among all the heroes who preceded you. Rest in peace…you are among the best of the best.

To the family and friends of our fallen hero, SGT Brock Chavers, my most sincere and heartfelt condolences. We grieve with you. God bless you.

My family and I wish to thank Sgt. Brock Chavers for his service to his Country--and to his family for raising such a fine young man. Our thoughts and prayers will be with the family during this hard time and in the future.

John F. Kennedy once said, ‘Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your Country: I say unto you –if you have given your life in the interests of a Godly Nation -you have done all that a man can do- sit-rest-you have done God proud-you will meet again your friends and loved ones—That is what the Good Book says and that is what I firmly believe
