Thank you for my freedom Maj Gen Bishop. May you rest in peace. “Some people’s lives can truly make a difference however long or short their lives on earth. They give the gifts of kindness and of caring. They sow the seeds of friendship and self-worth. Some people’s lives are beautiful examples of putting others first, and when they are gone, the lives of those they touched are so much richer, and the love they shared lives on and on.”

We all thank you for defending the United States of America, her freedoms and interests. Your outstanding devotion to God, Country and Corps will not be forgotten by those who have gone before you, those who are currently serving, and those who will step up in the future. Marine! It was an honor and a humbling experience to participate in the services for Major General Charles Seaman Bishop. Once again - permit me to offer my sincerest condolences to the family and a thank you to General Bishop for his life of service to this country. Judy G. Mokena, IL
