Capt. George-Bryan Houghton earned my respect and gratitude when he volunteered to serve our country as a fighter pilot in the United States Air Force. His efforts to make the world a safer place will be remembered with honor and appreciation by this American family.

My sincere condolences to the family and friends. You are in my prayers. Thank you for the precious sacrifice - your beloved GB - that you have given to America. We are, and always will be, grateful.

I’ve searched for the right words that might help to ease your pain as you mourn the loss of this wonderful husband, brother and son. In reading all the words of condolence sent by so many its obvious that GB cast a large shadow of good deeds wherever he went. There is no doubt that GB died honorably, in the service of our nation doing what he loved and was meant to do. Together with my PGR sisters and brothers we will not let his sacrifice fade from memory. We stand ready, willing and able to honor GB and his family today, tomorrow and forever more! Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you always and especially during this difficult time. May God Bless each of you and embrace you in his loving arms helping to ease your pain with each passing day.

Thank you sir for your services to this country. May you welcome the opening arms of our dear Lord. Rest in peace.

I thought I saw your face today,
in the sparkle of the morning sun.
And then I heard the angel say,
"Their work on earth is done."

I thought I heard your voice today,
then laugh your hearty laugh.
And then I heard the angel say,
"There's peace dear one at last."

I thought that you had left me,
for the stars so far above.
And then I heard the angel say,
"They left you with their love."

I thought that I would miss you so,
and never find my way.
And then I heard the angel say,
"They're with you every day."
"The sun, the wind, the moon, the stars,
will forever be around,
reminding you of the love you shared,
and the peace they've finally found.

Thank you for my freedom Capt Houghton. May you rest in peace.
