The whole country has held its breath along with the family of Matt Maupin, wondering, waiting, only to this sad end.   He will always be a hero in our hearts.  It is with much sadness and regret that I write these words.   

I will be there to stand for both SSG Matt Maupin and his family.

You are truly a Hero in the hearts of so very many people SSG Matt Maupin. We, as a Nation, should feel blessed that God shared you with us... thank you for serving our Country and for protecting our freedom.

To the Maupin Family... my deepest sympathy to all of you. I wonder if you realize how much you have touched people in all corners of America. Your strength seems without end, and I think people see that and feel a special kinship to your entire family. Again, my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Unfortunately I cannot attend the services. The race team I work with will be racing in Concord, NC on the 26th. We will however run with one of the Matt Maupin decals on the car to honor Matt's memory.

We will never forget. The Highlands Motorsports team and driver Wade Day (USAR Pro Cup South Series) offer our condolences to the Maupin family.

To my American hero, there is not a day that goes by that I don't see your face. I have your picture tape to my computer screen, your mom gave it to me at a poker run we had for you. Your mission is complete your coming home. I will never forget you as I will alawys keep that picture there to remind me of you. I know your Mom gave that picture to me with a note on back to place this in my bible and say a prayer, but I like to see you every day. God Bless Matt, You are my hero. Help needed. Yellow Ribbon Center and support activities

People power is what it's all about. there are many things at the Yellow Ribbon Center that could use some help now as we prepare to welcome Matt home.

Tomorrow (Sunday 4-19) the Crosses and flags will again be placed as a tribute to all of our fallen heroes at the "Helicopter Park" in Union township
(map Clough Pike & Glen Este-Withamsville Rd Cincinnati, OH 45245)
beginning at 10 AM, and it generally take 2-3- hours to set them up correctly.. this is a part of the Funeral procession route for Matt, and has played an important part in the rememberance of all of the fallen in our nation.

If you are riding in the area at the time, fell free to stop by and offer to help.

As I read the most recent update, PGR assembly point for Apr. 27 (Sunday) is at Yellow Ribbon Support Center and at 10:00AM. This email info of yours states leaving Speedway, Columbus @ 9:45AM. Please advise if 9:45AM is still correct for departure from Columbus Speedway, or if not - what is the new departure time??

To the Family of SSG Matt Maupin

Please know that you are all in so many thoughts and prayers across our nation as you have been for the past 4 years.
Matt gave to us all so unselfishly, something we will always be eternally grateful for. He gave of himself for our Freedoms.
It takes a rare breed of young man to take on the job our Military do so proudly. Matt was no exception. His ultimate sacrifice will never be forgotten.

We as a nation mourn with you. We cry with you, we stand with you. We share your anguish, we share your sadness, and we share your loss. You are not in this alone.

May God wrap loving angels around you, to guide you and ease your pain at this time of such great sorrow and through the days ahead. God has welcomed Matt into his loving arms, so he too will be watching over you all.
